I have resigned from my job.

I've had HORRIFIC migraines for nearly two months resulting in visits to the emergency room, the hospital, several medications, a CT scan, shots, etc.  Some physicians believe it's stress, some believe it's allergies.  Won't know for sure until I see the neurologist in June.  I've been nauseous, I've had a burning ( Read more... )

I am sorry to hear that you've been feeling so bad. Whatever it is, it sounds really nasty and I hope it'll go away soon and that you'll feel better soon.

*hugs*

Well, I graduated from uni last year and I am now looking for a nice job, which is a bit more difficult than expected. I hope to get accepted at the university library in Tuebingen (in the south-west of the country) to become a librarian. That would be awesome. :o)

And librarian? I didn't quite have you pegged as one. More as a soccer star LoL.

Panic attacks at work? I've been having those too! But not just at work, more like at grocery stores and other public places. What's been going on?

Did you ever find out what was the deal with the migraines?

Sounds like it was stress and/or high blood pressure.

I recently also was suffering so horribly from panic attacks. They are the devil...seriously.

They don't know for sure yet, even after an MRI. Don't even have high blood pressure.

I had panic attacks too, but I think THOSE were stress-related to all the moving (we moved from Arizona to Houston to San Angelo in less than a month and then after two weeks moved from the Air Force hotel to our house).

Are you still having problems with panic attacks? You may just want to go to places pissed off like me, it helps lol.

Did they check for cysts and stuff? Is that what the MRI was for?

Whoa that's a lot of moving. Why so much??

I'm not really having the attacks anymore. Every now and then I do get dizzy, claustrophobic and unusual thoughts as I did when I was having the attacks. But it's very mild...thank god.

What helped me a lot was to do research on what, why, how on panic attacks to understand wtf was going on with me. Then at work, with the help of my best friend, I would just "float with the symptoms". It helped so much.

They checked for a lot of things including brain tumors and aneurysms (not sure what else) and found nothing with it.

And all the moving was due to the military lol. We did a quick move from Houston, but we left a lot of stuff behind, so on our way to San Angelo we had to go back to Houston to pick our stuff up and get rid of the apartment and then drive back here. The housing situation is horrible here, so we had to live out of a hotel for 3 weeks before we found a place to live.

Man that's crazy! Have you been to a doctor for that?

It's always good to do research on what ails you, though sometimes you don't really want to know -_-. Glad you have things under control though. What kind of work do you do?
