You write beautiful prose. I don't know alot about poetry appreciation so I usually have no basis for any critical analysis, but you write-non-poemtry*-good-nikole.

I used to hate organized sports. Especially when I was a kid. I didn't get taken to a lot of baseball games like you did I guess, and when I was about 10 I used to be on the t-ball or little league or whatever you want to call it. I wasn't the most athletic kid, or rather I wasn't very motivated and so I would usually be made the center fielder. Not that any of the other kids could ever hit the ball that far, so my memories of baseball as a kid involve standing in the middle of a park in the 100 degree weather for two hours while nothing happened. I almost got heat stroke once, and after that my parents let me stop doing that.

I always grew up with no particular allegiance to the Rockies, cuz, well, the sucked right? They're named after the MOUNTAINS? Is that the best they could think of ( ... )

So I'm on the phone to my boyfriend and he asked Karrie if she knows a girl called Nikole.
I heard her in the background saying no...then Sean said "she has a piercing here and here.." and she was like YEAH! She's in my class!

haha sorry the most distinctive way to describe you by was your piercings. But how crazy is that! What a crazy coincidence huh?

Oh man that is so random. Is she in the poetry class? I think I know who she is... Hahahaha my piercings are super distinctive, so I wouldn't blame him for describing me that way. That is sooooo crazy though. What are the odds?

We obviously have to hang out at some point lol. Every time I start feeling like I'm alone in an awful big world, something like this happens to put everything in perspective :)
