I saw the Ravenclaw. You're talented in the performing arts and you're very curious and knowledgeable. You're a self-declared bookworm. That's great, but I don't feel comfortable sorting you into Ravenclaw because you're motivations still seem very practical. If I saw more abstraction and love of ideas as opposed to just an aptitude for logic and know-how, then I might see things differently.
Moreover, you when you said, "Part of this comes from my need for approval and acceptance of my peers.I hope that if they see that I’m knowledgeable, they’ll think more highly of it" I really felt the the distinction from Ravenclaw
( ... )
So. Maybe you value integrity and honor. A little. I think I've definitely read that here somewhere. ;) I see several references to your intelligence too. However, you don't seem to emphasize curiosity or adventure much in this application and that leads me to believe Gryffindor and Ravenclaw wouldn't suit you so well. I think you'll feel right at home in Hufflepuff.
I definitely felt Ravenclaw was your second house before but I had a peek at your Livejournal and I'm changing my vote. Technically we should sort only on what you've presented us here but I wasn't convinced so I went poking around and that seems to have the tipped my scales in the other direction. (I suspect you'll be fine in either house though, so no worries!)

The cool logic of a Ravenclaw was all over this application and your analytical mind was so very apparent. In fact this was so Ravenclaw that I suspect some people might see the application as pushing, but it seems genuine to me!

I think your respect answer is what really nailed Hufflepuff for me. The idea of being a part of something much greater and that you value people who help others-- and more importantly, who notice when help is needed-- seemed very Hufflepuff to me. I also felt like the importance you put on people-- on being less socially-awkward, and on having a family-- and the *why* behind that importance-- were very Hufflepuff values.
The Snape answer sealed it for me. But I figure anyone who is REALLY into manners, even linguistically, is super slytherin-y. And not like Scrimgeour seems like something a Slyterhin would do (though most would agree)
Oh man, hard sort. I think you could do well in many houses. But I'm picking Ravenclaw because of how the whole thing reads -- your application comes off as very deliberate and thought-out to me. Couple that with the emphasis on intelligence, and it says Ravenclaw to me.
