5. What do you think of either Voldemort or Snape as a character? I’ll choose Professor Snape and say that he is definitely a man to be trusted, and all the “point the finger” acts from Harry and practically the rest of the school are just silly. Though Dumbledore’s death is an adequate cause for suspicion, there are plenty of reasons to still trust Snape if you pay attention to detail. And besides, how utterly boring would it be to know that Harry was right this whole time about Snape, and all those times where he tried way to hard to put the blame on him. To me, it’s immature and equivalent to any childhood grudge. Snape has issues, yes, but I cannot help but trust him and respect him greatly (if I’m right about him, which I am damn it!) .

6. What are your other passions/ fandoms excluding Harry Potter? Photography is my love. Nothing beats developing your own black and whites. I also love German anything: history, music, language, whatever. As far as any other fandoms, star wars, Fight Club (I wanted my lj name to be JillsSmirkingRevenge but of course, that‘s too long), and tim burton films are the closest to a fandom.

7. Who do you relate to most within the Harry Potter series? Ron. I’ve got a horrible temper, I’ve got freckles (eww), and I never had that much money. He’s got a pretty good sense of humor too, and he seems to be hurt easily.

8. What is your favourite novel (ex. Harry Potter)? A Clockwork Orange and the perks of being a wallflower.

9. Would you run for prefect or Head Boy/ Girl if you were at Hogwarts? No. I don’t need the Head Girl status.

10. Who is your least favorite character - why? Hagrid - because he is annoying and aggravating. He wouldn’t be so bad if he seemed to learn from his mistakes, but he doesn’t. he continued to bring in incredibly dangerous creatures (when you’d think Aragog would have been a clue to NOT bring in his magical beasts) and in all honesty, he wasn’t fit for the job because of that trait. He no doubt knows his animals, he just conveniently has lapses of common sense when it comes to his “pets” at the same time.

11. What do you consider the key qualities of the four Hogwarts houses? (Describe why you think this and elaborate!)

Gryffindor - Bravery (now there’s an idea!), and Loyalty. Though the loyalty and bravery are usually reckless and it only looks like the character is asking for death, there’s just something appealing about the characteristics. I think having a Gryffindor as a friend would just give you a “warm, fuzzy feeling” knowing that someone is that loyal to you. Gryffindor is a lot of times full of truly magnanimous and passionate people.

Ravenclaw - Intelligence with a little mischief. I think anyone in Ravenclaw has the ability to outsmart you in just about everything, but not in a complete “Hermione Granger” type way. They will outsmart you, but then will sneak out at night with you. A ravenclaw friend will be the one to run to for help on your homework and sit around and drink Jager bombs with you.

Hufflepuff - Perseverance. To me, Hufflepuffs don’t seem like the type to give up. They also seem to be accepting of anyone and everyone as long as they have a good heart. With the badger as a House symbol, they also should be very protecting of anyone they are close to.

Slytherin - Ambition and Defiance. From most of the slytherins we know of, they will stop at nothing to get to what they want. They are similar to Gryffindors (gasp!) in that they are very passionate about anything they do, which accounts for their high ambition. I think they are also a bit cynical…ok, very cynical, but I think you could benefit from tying to understand their point of view. A Slytherin would be a friend you’ll never forget.

12. Where and how would you like to see yourself (job, country) in a few years time? I’d like to be a doctor. The money is the major motivator but I’d also like the education and prestige it holds. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll be a photojournalist for sure.

13. If you were a teacher at Hogwarts, which subject would you teach and why? I’d teach Alchemy. Who wouldn’t want to specialize in turning metal into gold, immortality, and developing a panacea?

14. Would you be a Mudblood, Halfblood or Pureblood, based on your own personality? Give original reasons for this calculation excluding specific House Traits. Scientifically speaking, I think I’d be pureblood. I’m full of nothing but recessive genes (light hair, light eyes, etc). Personality-wise, I’d say halfblood. I have an appreciation for all “blood types,” haha. At the same time, I’m kind of arrogant and sometimes I really just need to be around others like me or else I will go crazy.

15. What improvements would you follow through if you were Minister of Magic?
I think I’d do something with the underage magic laws.. Maybe just a restriction on the type of magic used cause right now, even goofy and innocent spells aren’t allowed and that’s ridiculous.

With muggle relations…I think in this case, the segregation is necessary to keep the wizards safe. When people like the Dursley’s aren’t a dime a dozen, then muggle relations my be able to improve and I’d try to ease the muggles into the knowledge of our world, and vice versa. Until then, wizards would be safer if muggles didn’t know about them. Aside from that, imagine the chaos if muggles did find out? The smartest thing to do right now is keep the segregation. the gradual increase of muggleborns will help with muggle relations enough anyway.

16. What do you consider your most prominent qualities, either good or bad and why?
Sarcasm - I have a dry dense of humor, and I can be extremely sarcastic. Some people appreciate it and find me hilarious, others think I’m a “cold, hard bitch.” Whatever the case, I think I’m pretty funny and I’m not changing.

Outspoken - If I think you’re an idiot, I’ll tell you that you’re an idiot. At the same time, if I agree with you, I’ll agree whole-heartedly. On my high school softball team, most people felt a bit intimidated by me at first, especially the freshman. They all hated me cause I told them to shut it and do their job (that was fun, lol), which was picking up the equipment. But, I think I did gain their respect throughout the season, at least that’s what a couple told me.

17. If you could change something of the Harry Potter series, what would you want to change? Harry Potter would be as gay as a daffodil and there would be no more Peter Parker endings (yes, I‘m a slasher). On a more serious note, I think I’d like to know more about the Ministry and the Aurors. And I’d like to know random things like Harry’s animagus form, Ron’s favourite food, and what Draco’s boggart turn’s in to.

18. Do you feel you can and will contribute to this community in an original way? Of course, I love debating about Harry Potter and there aren’t many I know who have as much enthusiasm as I do.

19. How did you hear of this community? I found it.

20. Now is your chance: choose a house you would prefer not to be sorted into. (Include rational arguments, though.). I think I have a little bit of each in me but I REALLY hate the name hufflepuff. So, that’s enough reason for me to not want to be in there. Honestly, hufflepuff? What was J.R. thinking? And, their colors are black and yellow…how gross. I’d feel like I were living in a beehive.
*EDIT* OK! I GIVE IN! since everyone has flipped out over this comment, i'll explain myself: This whole answer was, in fact, a JOKE. honest to jesus, i meant no harm. you can believe me or not, but i'm telling the truth. the truth is, I have no "rational arguement" against any house, as you should have seen from my answer to #11. ok, i wont lie, the name hufflepuff does make me inwardly laugh. but as for the colors...of course it is irrelevant, it was meant to be! however, the last thing i wanted to do was piss everyone off. next time i'll give a warning when i'm joking, since it's not always clear over the internet...which is understandable. So, again, i'm sorry!

as for the comment about hagrid, which was brought up more than once...i'm honestly not seeing my fault there. I even said animals were his expertise. the only negative comment i made is he seems to not learn from mistakes and lack common sense, resulting in danger to students (sending harry and ron to aragog, bringing in a dragon, and yes, even malfoy getting attacked by buckbeak, though by all means, draco was being stupid at the time and that whole fiasco could have, and should have, been prevented). now if i were to say i hate hagrid because he talks like a british redneck, then maybe i would understand. but i didn't.

hopefully that will help clear things up!
