I think Snape is an Extraordinary and controversial character. I am not very fond of him as a person but I think he brings a lot to the story, and I have to admit some of his lines are sometimes quite funny. I hate him for the obvious reasons that he dislikes Harry so much but I like him because he brings so much drama and unknown to the story I think hes just a great all around character!
6. What are your other passions/ fandoms excluding Harry Potter?
Well I just love reading anything and everything I can get my hands on. I love curling up with a good book whether it be science fiction fantasy and I especially love mystery ( thats why I love hp so much because its kind of a combination of all those types :-D) I also love writing poetry and short stories.
7. Who do you relate to most within the Harry Potter series?
The character that I most relate to in the story would be ron because I, like him, have extraordinary friends who often overshadow me. Although I don't have a overly-large family I also feel pressure from my family to always do better and to outdo my sister. Another quality we share is that what separates us from those who overshadow us is our ability to make others laugh and I think thats why both of us have such extraordinary friends. :-D
8. What is your favorite novel (ex. Harry Potter)?
Hmm this may sound a bit dumb But I really love the series of unfortunate events books. Although they are more for children, I really enjoy his way of writing ( daniel handler aka. Lemony Snicket). I also like its unpredictability. I also love love love rhoal dahl
9. Would you run for prefect or Head Boy/ Girl if you were at Hogwarts?
If I was at hogwarts I probably wouldn't run just because it would be hard for me to exercise force over fellow students ( ha ha come on I don't think I could resist the wit of fred an george! ), I like working with people a lot, but I don't think I would be able to stay in one place at all times I like to be on the go and out there having fun and going on adventures.
10. Who is your least favorite character - why?
This may sound cliche but my least favorite character is voldemort, I dislike voldemort because he is the source of all the hatred and sadness in the books and of course he killed harrys parents and a bunch of others, I mean ,heck!, he was even bad as a child and he can't even love, he despises it so!
11. What do you consider the key qualities of the four Hogwarts houses? (Describe why you think this and elaborate!)
For gryffindor I think you need to be brave and think on your toes, you need to love adventure and have a fairly good mind as well. I think that Harry and Ron and Hermione, along with others, and even neville all have traces of these qualities and they especially showed them in all of the crazy incidents they got themselves into.
For ravenclaw You need to be smart and have a eye for details and I think You need to be very orderly. I think this because, well everyone always says that hermione should have been in this house and shes really smart, thats really all I have to go on besides the sorting hats song sorry:'-(
I think for slytherin you need to have a good sense of self and you need to be proud and defend yourself. The all seem to know what they need to do to make them selves sufficient I think this because all the slytherin students such as malfoy, crabbe, goyle, and pansy, and even voldemort all seem to know that they have a certain importance to someone or something. For example voldemort always was dedicated to find out more about his past and to learn to use his powers to his and only his advantage, and crabbe and goyle always knew that in order to be sufficient they need to be near more powerful people ( aka malfoy)
I think hufflepuff values friendship the most and supporting each other and all being equal. This is mostly shown when cedric runs for triwizard tournament and how much support he got from his house.
12. Where and how would you like to see yourself (job, country) in a few years time?
When I get out of high school I would like to study abroad and learn about archeology which is what I would really like to do when I'm older, adventure and having fun as I work is what I value the most in a job.
13. If you were a teacher at Hogwarts, which subject would you teach and why? (Extra thumbs up for original submissions - feel free to invent your own magical subject!)
yay! Ive always wanted to create a new subject! I think That if I was a teacher at hogwarts I would be a teacher of magical culture ( or as I would like to call it, ha ha ) This would be about studying how different types of wizards in different countries are different and just to learn about their schools and their government and everything. I though of this while reading GoF for about the 5th time ( I'm serious. I love these books)at the triwizard tournaments when she was talking about the different wizard tents, and the witches and wizards from all over the world, and that whole thing just spiked my curiosity! I would love experiencing new things in training for the job and I would love to share my knowledge with others.
14. Would you be a Muggleborn (Mudblood?), Halfblood or Pureblood, based on your own personality? Give original reasons for this calculation excluding specific House Traits.
I think I would be a muggleborn because I can just imagine my self finding out that I was a witch and just the excitement and my urging to learn everything I can about the wizarding world.
15. What improvements would you follow through if you were Minister of Magic?
If I was minister of magic I would probably create meetings that magical people could attend that would inform them about what is happening at the ministry instead of handing out leaflets. I also would not arrest people just to say that we had somebody. I think that the ministry Is too infatuated with making themselves look good and they need to find out more about how voldemort works rather than just catching anyone that seems to be slightly guilty.
16. What do you consider your most prominent qualities, either good or bad and why?
I am fun loving and optimistic and I like adventure. I can sometimes be cranky and I'm not the most organized person in the world, I Tend to be scatter brained because I analyze things a lot and like to go through things thoroughly in my head. I live for the moment pretty much.
17. If you could change something of the Harry Potter series, what would you want to change?
If I Could change something I think I would add new characters, like maybe someone who is in slytherin that befriends Harry or somebody who has a disability, maybe also different religions?? they don't talk about religion In HP as far as I know.
18. Do you feel you can and will contribute to this community in an original way?
Yes I do I'm constantly thinking about what could happen next in the stories and I think I would bring different opinions into the community because I tend to think out of the box.
19. How did you hear of this community?
I heard about this community in the harry _potter community.
20. Now is your chance: choose a house you would prefer not to be sorted into. (Include rational arguments, though.) The house I would prefer not to be placed into is slytherin. It seems to me that the students in the book that are put in the house think a lot about themselves and they really know their importance in life. I am more spontaneous and like adventure and like to be with and help other people
EDIT : changed the spelling errors, fixed the last question because I said which one I would like to be in instead of not be in. Sorry about that :-(
