Log: Date Night -- Meet the Evil Twin

Jul 30, 2007 05:01

WHO: Ahiru [ sonenschein ] and Kyro [ magicalmophead ]
TONE: cute and devious at first, then sensual, with touches of awkwardness throughout
WHEN: July 28, 2007 -- Evening
WHERE: The German town nearby Ahiru's farmhouse -- Movie Theater
WHAT: Ahiru and Mytho go on a date together to see the standard sappy feel-good movie. Or, at least, Ahiru thinks it's Mytho. It's actually his separate personality, Kyro -- who's determined to make the date a little bit more interesting...
WARNINGS: PG-13ish because of some vague sexual fantasies of Kyro's. It's not nearly as good bad as the situations Fakir and Ahiru have gotten in, though. Kyro is a bit disappointed, frankly.
STATUS: Complete.

Mytho glanced at his reflection in the mirror and brushed a few strands of his white hair aside. Or, at least, it appeared to be Mytho-unless you were observant enough to notice that the normally gentle boy’s lips had curled into a smirk, or that his wide eyes had a cruel glint in them.

Kyro was rather pleased with himself. Even with Mytho on heightened alert, he had managed to take control of the boy - and, in a move that he had an odd sense of pride in, stayed in control long enough to take his other’s girlfriend out on a date.
It wasn’t that he didn’t like Rue. Rue had a wonderful air to her, a spark of cruelty much like his own, and (particularly useful) an obsession with him that seemingly knew no bounds.
But Ahiru was a fun little game in her own right. Pretty in her own way, sickeningly sweet, and mindlessly innocent. Those sorts of girls were fun to toy with - and the added bonus of causing Mytho more stress when he realized what happened filled his separate personality with a sadistic glee.

Finished with his last-minute grooming, Kyro slipped out of his bedroom and crossed the hall to Ahiru’s room, briskly knocking on her door. “Are you ready, Ahiru?”

The petite redhead jumped in surprise, the hairbrush she was using to comb through her long locks flying ungracefully out of her hand and bouncing off the chair in front of her before tumbling down to the floor with a dull thump. "Ah-Ah--Just a minute!" she called out, flustering around the room quickly to find her the shoes that were paired to compliment her dress - the outfit she had originally bought because Fakir had said it was something Mytho would like. And he certainly had seemed to like it on their last date, so she wasn't going to take her chances with anything new this time around.

Ahiru was very excited. Her first date with Mytho had gone very well and they both had enjoyed themselves. And she had come to know just how much he was fascinated with the muggle things - thus going to a muggle movie would be the perfect setting for another date. Or so she hoped, anyway.

'No,' she chided herself mentally. 'This is no time for doubting! We'll have a great time!'

Finally locating the footwear in question, she hastily pulled the low-heeled sandles on her feet, berating herself inwardly for keeping Mytho waiting. After fastening the shoes, she returned to the abandoned chair and knelt beside it to retrive the fallen brush and proceeded to swiftly do her hair up in two identical pigtails, allowing the curled ends - which she'd specifically styled for the sake of the date -- to half-cascade down in front of her shoulders and in back. And in taking one last preparatory breath, she smoothed out the cream folds of the dress and smiled a little sheepishly at her reflection, giving herself a silent nod before turning and heading for the door.

"S-Sorry! I'm ready now!" she spoke in embarrassment, face flushed as she pulled open the door with the same little smile still on her lips as she met his gaze a little hesitantly. "I didn't... mean to keep you waiting."

Kyro couldn’t help but be vaguely disappointed when Ahiru opened the door dressed in a floaty, cream-colored sundress. It was exactly the sort of thing Mytho would like, highlighting Ahiru’s girly innocence. Kyro had thought, however, that he had managed to convince her to wear that little black dress he saw in her room the night before - something a bit more in line with his tastes.

Still, she didn’t look bad. It was nice seeing her hair out of her typical schoolgirl braid. His eyes flicked downward as he glanced at her hairstyle, wondering to himself what her reaction would be if he dared to run his hand through it.
’Patience,’ he reminded himself. ‘This sort of girl need to be taken care of slowly. If I move too quickly, I’ll scare her off.’

Kyro flashed a charming smile and leaned against the door frame. “It’s alright. I wasn’t waiting long,” he said smoothly. “Besides, you’re worth the wait.”

He paused for a moment, debating inwardly about asking the question on his mind. Well, it couldn’t hurt to ask… “Although, I have to admit, I’m a little surprised. I thought you were going to wear the dress I saw last night.”

"Worth the wait...?" Ahiru flushed nearly to the shade of her hair in response to his comments, glancing down to her feet as she shuffled them a bit on the floor of the hallway. And the red of her cheeks only intensified with the mention of the infamous and revealing black outfit that Mytho had unintentionally caught sight of the night before. "Ah--! I didn't know you wanted--for the date--and it's a little bit too...showy to be wearing in public and it was just supposed to be for you to see only so--!" She cut her speech off, nearly clamping a hand over her mouth on a sudden urge, but ultimately finding that biting her tongue was a more reasonable alternative.

Covering with a nervous giggle, she led the way down the stairway, trying not to blurt out something random to reflect how nervous she was becoming as the seconds past. Ahiru couldn't understand it - Mytho seemed perfectly calm and yet her insides were doing somersaults and dancing wildly all over the place. Swallowing hard in attempt to quell her anxiousness, she made a beeline straight for the fireplace after hitting the bottom of the winding stairs, glancing over her shoulder to make sure she hadn't intentionally left him too far behind. "Ah--I don't know if I clarified, but we'll be going by floo powder, if that's alright with you. The family in town who's been connected to the floo network should be out today, but I did let them know in advance that we'd be passing through."

“For…me only?” Kyro blinked. He hadn’t expected to hear that…but he liked it. The idea of being chosen to be the only one…

Of course, she thought he was Mytho.

“Well, I’m honored, then,” he responded, genuinely. He followed behind Ahiru down the stairs and to the fireplace with long, confident strides. He listened attentively to her plans, then nodded. “That sounds like a plan. Certainly quicker than going by horse, eh?”

She nodded in light response, unable to meet his gaze. Her mind drove back to a few weeks beforehand against her will; the instance where she'd worn that dress in the store and the mishap that had led to unfathomable embarrassment. Those things only seemed to happen when Fakir was involved. And the redhead mused for a brief moment that maybe perverts had more of an effect on her bad luck somehow. Therefore, with Mytho, it would be in the clear. "Yes, as long as it's you, it should be alright."

Ahiru was further surprised when he'd said he was honored and looked up at him in surprise before hurriedly busying herself with gathering the floo powder for the quick journey. "Y-Yes, it's definitely faster than a horseride," she agreed, refusing to let her mind wander back to her last trip to town on horseback. She cleared her throat. "The theater isn't far from the house we'll be arriving in, so it shouldn't take long to find it. And the movie isn't too long, so I hope that you won't be too uncomfortable in a muggle environment." Taking a handful of the fine dust, she offered the container to Mytho for his own portion before setting it safely back onto the mantle. After telling him the destination, she stood before the fire that had just been lit and threw her pile of powder into the flames, turning them a bright green color. "I'll go on ahead to make sure everything is alright where we're to arrive. Just follow after me in about a minute, okay?" Passing one last bright smile to her white-haired companion, she stepped directly into the fire, clearly stated the name of the wizarding household, and vanished from sight in a burst of bright flames.

Kyro took the offered powder in his hand and murmured a polite thank you. He resisted the urge to role his eyes when she mentioned seeing a movie. He had never understood what was so popular about those things…although Mytho, of course, was fascinated with how things like the movie projectors worked. What was the point of it for a date, anyway? Sitting still for two hours, staring at a screen, unable to talk, facing away from each other…

…Then again, he vaguely remembered once seeing a couple not exactly paying attention to the movie…

Hmmmm.

He smiled, a plan beginning to form in his mind. Nodding in response to Ahiru, he said “Right. I’ll meet you there, then,” and watched her leave.

And then allowed himself an amused chuckle when she vanished out of sight. He wondered if she’d really go along with it…

Either way, Mytho wouldn’t be happy. But that was the entire point, in the end.

He threw his floo powder into the fireplace and stepped into it, clearly pronouncing the name of his destination, and followed after Ahiru.

The arrival in the wizard's house hadn't gone quite as smoothly as the redhead had hoped. She made it there safely and intact, but her balance was completely off as she stumbled through the new burst of green flames, sending her straight out of the fireplace and onto the floor in the unfamiliar home. "Owww," she moaned slightly, rubbing the arm she landed hard on in attempt to save her face from meeting the cold floor in its stead. Wincing slightly from the sting of the reddened skin, she glanced away from it to look around at her surroundings. Whoever the couple was, Ahiru silently decided that they were certainly proud of their living quarters. Everything was well-kept and clean, with various wizard's world devices and trinkets strewn about in a tasteful arrangement. And she couldn't help but ogle slightly at her new surroundings. Afterall, having grown up a muggle, she was still getting used to everything in the wizard's common lifestyle. Much of the magic world held a fresh and highly interesting allure to her, even after the four years since she'd discovered that she was a witch.

Blinking with the realization that she was invading the host's privacy by staring openly at the moving pictures on the wall, the blushing redhead moved her gaze to her feet. 'Always a safe place to look,' she thought with wryly with a hint of slight amusement, wriggling her toes beneath her own gaze. Remembering what she came for, Ahiru abruptly tore her eyes away from her feet, skillfully avoiding being sucked in by the scenery a second time, and looked back to the empty fireplace to quietly wait for Mytho to appear.

Kyro appeared in the stranger’s home a moment later, barely even stumbling as he made his entrance. Taking a moment to straighten his shirt, he stepped out of the fireplace and walked over to Ahiru’s side, openly taken in his surroundings. A fairly typical wizarding home. Very neat. His mother would surely approve…”I wonder if we’re related?” he said under his breath with an amused tone. Siegfried was a German name, after all…

He looked over at Ahiru and then glanced over at the large green door at the other end of the room. “So, I’m assuming that’s our way into town,” he said nonchalantly, pointing over in that direction. “I’m assuming the theater’s not far from here?”

At Mytho's prompting, Ahiru glanced at the door in question. "Yeah, I think that's the way out." Heading toward it, she paused for a moment just before pulling the large green door open.

"I think the movie theater is...next to the coffee shop. Which is..." Stepping outside, she glanced around the bustling square straight ahead, eyes roving over the gushing fountain and buildings. Finally, her blue eyes caught sight of a familiar building - short, stocky and red. And the lettering in the window was accompanied by a logo of a steaming cup of coffee. "Aha! There's the coffee shop! And the theater is right next door!" Pointing to the larger building beside the red one, Ahiru quickly took hold of Mytho's hand with her free one, her feet skipping over the stone pathway and meandering through the early-evening crowd. "Hopefully we're still on time for the show!"

Kyro stepped outside of the wizarding home and closed the door behind him, looking around at the town. In a way, it reminded him of Stratford-charming and filled with history, looking like the sort of town you’d see illustrated in a book of fairy tales. For an odd, brief moment, Kyro almost felt a little homesick.

But before that moment could make any lasting impression on him, the redhead at his side broke into his thoughts with an exclamation. He looked over at the building she was pointing at, then nearly tripped as Ahiru grabbed hold of his hand and began to pull him towards the theater. He walked quickly to be able to keep up with the girl, his sneakers stumbling slightly on the stone-paved road.
“I’m sure we’re not that late!” he said, looking a little ruefully at the café as they passed and wishing he had time to stop in for a cup. “You didn’t take that long. And don’t they have some sort of advertisements before the show itself, anyway?”

The bouncing redhead halted at his words, sheepishly raising her free hand behind her head. "O-Oh! I'm sorry! You're right. Eheh..." Squeezing his hand slightly in hers, a red hue dusted over her cheeks. "I guess I was just kind of...excited. You know..." She paused, staring at the theater ahead for a moment before turning to look up at him with a bright and genuine smile. "It feels like it's been so long since we've really been able to get out and put the worries and stress behind us and just...spend time together again. I've really been looking forward to it."

Her hand still firmly gripping his, Ahiru started to walk again, but at a much slower, liesurely pace. "They do have previews and things before the movies start, so I guess there really was no need to rush like that." Glancing up at him again as they continued their promenade, a slight note of worry crept into her eyes. "You didn't...trip or hurt yourself, did you? I know I kind of just took off like a bolt. I'll um...I'll make it up to you somehow! If you think of anything, just let me know?"

He smiled warmly at Ahiru when she squeezed his hand, doing his best to react the way Mytho would. Vaguely, in the back of his mind, he realized that Mytho would have been blushing just like his girlfriend-but considering the sort of things he could imagine, a simple squeeze of the hand was far too chaste to bring about any sort of reaction.
“I’m glad we’ve finally been able to get out together,” Kyro said, being honest in his own sort of way. “I’ve been looking forward to it as well. I’m sure this will be a lot of fun.” ‘And Mytho’s reaction will be the icing on the cake. Particularly if we have quite a bit of fun…’

Kyro let go of Ahiru’s hand for a moment to pull out some muggle money out of his pocket, paying for the movie they planned to see. He looked at the poster with a frown-a happy, cute little couple captured in the middle of a laugh, nose to nose, with a tagline questioning if love could conquer all. Of course it could. Stories like that never ended any other way.

How dull and unrealistic. But it didn’t surprise him that Ahiru would pick that to take Mytho to…

He glanced out of the corner of his eye at the worrying girl and shook his head, picking up the tickets and handing her one. “No, I’m not hurt at all. Besides…”
Kyro allowed himself a small smirk and slipped his arm around the girl’s waist, leading her into the theater. “You shouldn’t make offers like that unless you really want me to take you up on them.”

Ahiru couldn't help but notice that Mytho seemed to be much more confident than she remembered him being a few days prior when he'd come to her room to straighten the misunderstanding out. She vaguely wondered if perhaps now that they'd come to an understanding, the awkwardness between had also somehow vanished with the problem. The redhead smiled at the thought, and broke out of her inner contemplation as a ticket was handed to her. "Oh, thank you!" she said with a smile as she took the ticket, her blue eyes glancing up at him again. "And I'm...really glad you're not hurt."

A blush surfaced to her face rapidly when she felt his arm curl around her waist and she wordlessly let him take the lead, following alongside him into the theater and listening intently as he spoke. "I-I offered cause I mean it. You could have been hurt if you tripped and I didn't even think about it, and--if there really is something I can do for you, I'd be glad to." She glanced around a little at the small crowd and rows of plush red seats. "Where did you want to sit?"

Kyro’s smirk widened. “Alright, if you say so. I’ll think about what you can do.” He turned and glanced around the theater, trying not to wince as his sneakers stuck slightly to the floor. Where to sit didn’t really matter…the movie would be abysmal no matter where they would sat. He wished he didn’t have to follow the plans Mytho had agreed to…
His eyes scanned the seats at the back. Hmm…it seemed like that’d be the darkest place to be…it was rather empty, as well. Nobody would be paying attention if he decided to try something…

He started to ascend the stairs, keeping his grip on Ahiru’s waist. “What about here, in the back?”

Ahiru blinked in slight surprise, following up the stairs with him. "You want to sit in the back?"

That hadn't been the answer she was honestly expecting. Afterall, wasn't it easier to see a movie if you were up closer to the screen? Her brows furrowed a little and she inwardly shrugged. What she cared about was spending time with him. The redhead didn't really didn't have any issues with where they sat. And if Mytho wanted to sit in the back, there was really no harm in it. She turned her head to smile at him. "I thought it would be easier to see up closer, but if you want to sit in back, I don't mind."

“Well, when you’re too close to the screen, you have to stretch your neck a bit to see…that sort of hurts my neck after a while,” he explain, injecting his voice with as much confidence as he could. “Back in the back, you can see everything well without having to worry about causing yourself too much pain.”
He continued to climb up the stairs, forbidding himself to think about how far he’d fall if he tripped and tumbled over the railing. That would be unlikely. No reason to allow his fear of heights to bother him now.
“Don’t worry,” he continued as he reached the back row. “We can sit closer to the front next time.”

Ahiru nodded through Mytho's reasoning, silently agreeing. She'd never thought of it that way before, but...it made plenty of sense. "I don't mind not sitting in the front," she assured him with a dismissive wave of her hand. "I've never sat in the back before, so it's something new to try. And like you said, sitting this far means you won't need to crane your neck too much to see!" When the reached the farthest row back, Ahiru disengaged his arm from around her a little hesitantly. She'd actually grown used to the comfort and support of it being there, but they couldn't sit down and watch a movie if he was hooked around her like that. Sighing shortly, Ahiru seated herself before she could dwell on it any longer. "The atmosphere in here isn't too bad though. It's kind of warm, but otherwise pretty comfortable."

Kyro sensed Ahiru’s hesitation as she pulled away. Hmm, interesting…so he was right, she did enjoy that. Poor, poor Mytho. Did he realize how much she actually wanted him to do that he didn’t because of his awkwardness and bizarre sense of ‘honor’?
He settled in the seat next to Ahiru, leaning back a little and crossing his arms. “Mm. It’s nice. Plus, up here, we can be a little more alone. Nice for a date, right?”

"Very," she readily agreed with a blush and a glance in his direction, which was quickly hidden in darkness when the theater lights went out and the previews started playing. Ahiru was only half paying attention to the screen, her mind caught up in the situation at hand.

Here she was on a date with Mytho. In the back of a muggle theater. In the dark...Alone. Her heart started beating a little faster, but she stubbornly ignored it. Afterall, it wasn't like Mytho would try anything, anyway.

And for a brief moment, Ahiru wasn't sure whether she was relieved or discouraged about that thought.

Kyro stared at the previews, hardly interested, but forcing himself to bide his time. He kept his arms firmly crossed and against his chest to remind himself of this. ‘Wait,’ he thought to himself, ‘Wait and go slowly. As long as I don’t scare her too much, I might be able to do quite a bit…’

He watched the images in the trailer flash past the screen, showing more chick-flicks and a few screwball comedies. He waited carefully, deciding that he’d wait for the advertisements to end before making his first move…

…Did they always have this many? How did muggles stand this sort of thing?

He let out a soft, exasperated sigh when the opening of the movie finally appeared on the screen. That was a long enough wait. If she was still resistant after he had been so patient, she’d never be ready. He stretched out and put his arm on the back of her chair, watching to see her reaction.

Ahiru had forced herself so hard to concentrate on the previews instead of letting her mind wander further that she nearly jumped when Mytho's arm found its way to the back of her chair. But feeling the slight warmth radiate from behind her was actually comforting after the initial embarrassment factor wore off. Smiling a little to herself, she leaned back against her chair.

The movie would be even more enjoyable like this. If Mytho wanted to keep his arm there, she certainly wasn't going to stop him.

Wonderful. She was not only accepting of the move - she actually seemed pleased. He turned his head away for a moment to hide the smug expression that appeared unbidden on his face. The world was the way it should be - soon, perhaps, she would love him. Him and him alone…
Forcing himself to take on a more gentle (and Mytho-like) expression, he turned back to Ahiru and decided to push his luck a little further. He slid his arm off the back of the chair and down to wrap around her shoulders, slowly pulling her closer to lean against his body.

A small gasp slipped out of the redhead's mouth when the arm around the back of her chair fell to her shoulder and gently, but firmly, pulled her up against her date. She felt her cheeks heat a little more and was finding it harder and harder to concentrate on the movie itself. Somehow being pressed up against Mytho demanded more of her immediate attention. Not that she minded. Sighing almost happily, Ahiru closed her eyes for a few seconds and leaned her head against his shoulder, simply enjoying his warmth and presence. The date was already turning out to be more than she thought it would in terms of rekindling their relationship and eliminating the awkwardness that remained between them. Mytho must really have been serious about her all along if he was suppressing his nerves for her sake. And she was thankful

Everything was still going smoothly…perfect. He let them remain that way for a while, watching the screen with mild interest, and gently rubbing her shoulder every now and then. He kept his gestures to gentle, ‘loving’ motions that would be of the sort Mytho would normally keep to. Knowing this sort of movie, sooner or later there’d be…
Ah, there it is. Two of the characters wrapped up in a complicated love triangle were leaning towards each other for a kiss. Now was the moment. He leaned down to move his mouth nearby Ahiru’s ear and whispered her name to get her attention.

Ahiru had begun getting caught up in the movie itself finally, until Mytho's soft whisper of her name broke her out of the story and back to dark inside of the theater. She pulled her head up off of his shoulder, facing him, and suddenly very glad that he couldn't see the redness of her cheeks in the dark. "Yes?" she murmured softly in question, her heart abruptly starting to pound against her ribcage with an ignited fervor when she noticed just how close they were.

Now was the time to push it beyond what Mytho would ever have the courage to do.
“Ahiru…” Kyro began, speaking quietly enough so that only his companion could hear him. “When you and Fakir went on that trip to town, he kissed you on the neck, right?”

Mytho's question took her by surprise and the memories from the horseback ride flooded back into her mind all at once, as if some forgotten door had been reopened. And the feelings those actions had bore to life returned, causing the redhead to repress a slight shudder. Whatever he had done - licking, sucking, kissing... she wasn't even sure exactly what mix it had been - but she'd almost thought she might have enjoyed it if it all hadn't happened so suddenly.

"Y-Yeah," she spoke just as quietly in response. "Something like that."

Her reaction this time seemed a little more apprehensive…Kyro paused for a moment, trying to think of the best approach to take. He couldn’t say she had a bad reaction, so…
He pressed his lips together for a second, putting together the right wording in his head before he said the words aloud. “If I did the same thing…would you enjoy it? Would you want me to do that?”

Ahiru's eyes widened like saucers. "W-W-Would I enjoy...want you to?" She paused, staring at him and feeling like her face was being set aflame in the dark theater. "I-I...I wouldn't mind..." she said softly.

As long as it was Mytho, she knew she'd enjoy it.

“Good.” He instantly relaxed, allowing himself to behave a little more like his natural self. He smiled in the darkness, turning to face Mytho’s girlfriend and placing a hand on her shoulder. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

Kyro began to lean forward, scooting towards Ahiru in his seat-and hitting his leg against the armrest. He winced and glared down at the obstacle, wishing he had a chance to do this somewhere a little more comfortable. Hmph, whatever. He hit the armrest up with his knee and pushed up the rest of the way with his hand, sliding it out of the way. There - much better. He snorted slightly, not allowing his momentary clumsiness to make him too flustered or distract him. Focusing back on Ahiru, he pulled her closer and pressed his lips against her jawbone.

Ahiru had nearly chuckled at Mytho's frustration with the armrest, but any amusement was quickly repressed when she was pulled closer to him, his breath hot on her open skin where he'd leaned in dangerously close. She inhaled sharply when he kissed right above the junction of her neck, her eyes half-closing of their own accord. To say it felt nice would have been an understatement. She was certain Mytho had never kissed her there before now, but she couldn't deny that she liked it.

Kyro felt a sense of pride when he heard Ahiru’s reaction to the kiss. She certainly did more than just ‘not mind’ it. He raised his free hand and combed his fingers through her hair, gently brushing aside her pigtail. Her hair felt as soft as he imagined…he allowed his fingers to tangle into her hair and began to trail kisses down along her neck, pausing halfway down to slide his tongue out and lick a patch of skin.

The redhead muffled a noise that threatened to escape the back of her throat, craning her neck to bare more of the flesh to his tender ministrations. Mytho was somehow gentle and sensual at the same time and there was no way to describe exactly how it made her feel, but it was definitely a good feeling. One of her hands then suddenly gripped the seat for support, a bit of a shiver running down her spine when his tongue slipped out and licked at her neck.

She wasn't sure what caused Mytho to become so bold, but she was enjoying every second of it.

He smiled against her neck, unable to hold back a soft chuckle. He’d felt the suppressed noise as his lips contacted with and caressed her skin. Kyro continued kissing and licking where he was for a moment, then pulled slightly back and moved to once again whisper into her ear.
“You know,” he said, his voice a little deeper and containing a bit of a husky edge to it, “you don’t have to hold back. Nobody can hear us over the movie, as long as you don’t get too loud.” He chuckled again and playfully added “That’s the real reason I suggested we sit here.”

He moved down and once again turned his attention to her neck, pressing his lips against it and once again parting his lips to swirl his tongue against her skin. The hand on her shoulder began to slide down her arm. The hand on her shoulder began to slide down her arm--for a moment, he considered taking the strap keeping her dress up down with his hand, but he denied himself for the moment. Even in a darkened theater, there was only so much you could get away with without calling attention to yourself...

Ahiru was certain her temperature was rising, even though it was already quite warm in the theater even before Mytho had started necking her. But it was his words that startled her - a teasing tone she wasn't familiar with was whispering things she never would have expected to hear from him.

She didn't have to hold back? ...He'd planned this situation?

And it wasn't that she minded. Far from it. She was definitely enjoying what he was doing and there was no doubt about that. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something was a little unnatural about his behavior. Had he...perhaps thought that she liked the forward approach she'd received from Fakir weeks ago? That would certainly explain why he had asked about it in the first place.

The red-haired witch couldn't stop the small moan from escaping her parted lips when his tongue met her skin again and his hand began to wander. His touch was almost burning her from the outside in. And while her right hand continued to grip edge of her seat, her free one lifted and experimentally drifted to his back, fingers stroking over the fabric of his shirt.

Kyro gasped softly when he felt her hand touch his back. It wasn’t the touch itself that elicited the response from him as much as how surprised he was that she had done so. A part of him had expected her to remain the way she was, clearly enjoying herself but content to allow him to do everything.
Not that it was an unpleasant surprise. Certainly not - it was a very, very pleasant surprise. As long as he had the lead, he liked girls to show a little initiative. He appreciated the same trait in Rue…

He mentally shook his head. Rue wasn’t important right now. Ahiru was his current prey. He lifted his hand away from her arm and curled his now-free limb around her waist, then used his grip on her to pull her onto his lap. He shifted his weight underneath her to make sure the position was comfortable for both of them, forcing himself to ignore the sensation he felt when at one point her weight pressed against him.
‘Not yet,’ he reminded himself. ‘Soon, perhaps, but it’s not time for that yet.’
He clamped his lips upon the skin of her neck and begin to suck on it, firmly but not enough to cause her too much pain. He was determined to leave his mark on the girl - something for Mytho to find later. That way he would know that this girl was now his, and his alone.

Ahiru squeaked in surprise when he pulled her from her own seat and onto his lap, her grip on the chair disengaged from its support, but she didn't fight it. With Mytho, this was okay. It wasn't the same as sitting on Fakir's lap when he---No! She wasn't dare going to think about that at a time like this!

She settled comfortably on top of him, eyes still slightly open but more hazed than before. And when he bent his head down to her neck again, Ahiru's eyes abruptly went wide as he openly sucked the skin between his lips, eliciting a sharp gasp from deep in her throat. Both of her arms rose, one hand curling over his chest and burying its fingertips the folds of his shirt, the other crawling up his back from its previous position and caressing as it did so.

It was different. It was exhilarating, making her heart pound and causing blood to rush to her face at an alarming rate. But she really, really liked it.

The white-haired boy moaned softly in response to her caresses, his grip on Ahiru’s waist tightening slightly. It seemed like every time he decided to push further, to increase the passion in his touches, she responded in kind. Not quite to the point that he was reaching, but what he thought would perhaps scare her away was actually making her eager! His imagination was running wild with the idea - how far could he take this? If he pushed her down against the seats, what would her reaction be? Still positive? Even more than it had been? And if he then risked placing caressing hand on one of her breasts…perhaps, even, slipped his hand up the skirt of that silly, girly sundress and reached the place that even Rue had not allowed him to touch so far…what would--?

Laughter from the audience in the theater below jerked Kyro back to reality. The effect was so jarring he nearly swore. Of course, he was in a public place. He once again wished that he had a chance to take this elsewhere. Fakir, the lucky dog, had actually gotten to share a bed with this girl…oh, if he had that chance, much more would’ve happened than a grope and a little bit of necking. That he had already decided. Next chance he’d get…

Well, at the very least, he had hopefully given this rather intriguing girl a reason to look forward to that next time. He sucked on her neck a little longer to make sure that the - what was that cute little word that Mytho called it? Ah, that’s right - to make sure that the ‘love bite’ would be clearly visible, then removed his lips from her neck. He paused for a moment and took a deep breath, removing his left hand from her hair and moving it downward to caress the back of her neck.

Slowly, Ahiru felt that she was getting used to this odd change in Mytho. His bold movements and gestures were beyond what she thought he was really capable of. That kiss they had shared right near the doorway in her room days past - it had been so timid and sweet, hesitant to the point that she thought he might have almost regretted initiating it at all.

But this...Perhaps this meant he was finally ready to put the issue with Rue behind them and move forward as a couple. She had no doubt now that Mytho had been telling the truth. His actions were speaking sufficiently to assure her of that.

When at last he pulled away, she made a small noise in the back of her throat, almost as though communicating that she didn't want him to stop. She leaned slightly into the massaging movement of his hand behind her neck, enjoying what little touch remained that she could relish in.

As long as this was real and Mytho was here, the other images and feelings would have no choice but to disappear. Temporary embarrassments, dark-haired boys with staring problems, and naked bathroom encounters didn't matter anymore. Whether or not Fakir was physically attracted to her didn't matter at all. In time, it would all be purged from her mind. She sighed, closing her eyes to Mytho's touch. This was all that mattered.

Did that sound that rose from Ahiru’s throat mean what he thought it meant? Kyro shivered, the image of the redhead lying beneath him coming once again unbidden to his mind. Merlin, he wanted so badly to just try, to see how she’d react. Particularly if that reaction would be a moan begging him to continue…

The lust and surprise he felt was enough to momentarily break down his mental barrier. He could feel it - the other personality in his body stirring slowly as if waking up from a deep sleep and a soft, timid voice echoing in his mind ‘Where…? Did he take over again?’

Kyro tensed momentarily, forcing the wall between himself and his other self to once again block the boy from taking over. Mytho taking control now would be a disaster. Likely his reaction would be loud enough to call attention to the couple and their compromising position. Reluctantly he once again pushed the images of Ahiru out of his mind and pulled back slightly. He glanced over at the screen - the movie seemed to be reaching some sort of climax. Just as well, then…
“We’ll have to continue this another time, perhaps,” he whispered softly. “Maybe when you show me that dress of yours.”

"O-Oh!" Ahiru nearly clamped a hand over her mouth, making a little more noise than she had intended to. Hushing her voice down, she then whispered, "Alright, if that's--Yes, that would be best." Hastily she pulled herself down off of his lap and returned to her own seat, facing forward toward the screen and giving the impression that she was paying complete attention to it. And the redhead really hoped the color of her face was still hidden enough from view. She must have looked like a tomato by now.

What had she been thinking!? Ahiru bit her lip, watching the movie but not allowing herself to escape into it. She and Mytho had just been---And in a public place like this! Even though they were hidden decently from immediate view, if either of them had started making louder noises, someone would have been bound to hear them!

Ahiru felt gulity. She'd let herself get caught up in her companion's affections, disregarding where they were and what they were really supposed to be doing at the time. Was she really that desperate to flee from her own problems and receive Mytho's full attention?

...She wasn't sure she wanted to answer that.

Kyro frowned as she removed herself from his lap and sat back into her seat. There was an anxious feeling in the air now - she no longer seemed to be very thrilled with what had just happened. He furrowed his brow and tapped his fingers on the armrest at his right with some irritation. Maybe it was a good thing he hadn’t gone as far as he wanted to. Perhaps he was right in the end - if he went too fast, he’d scare her away.
Damn it. How could he be so careless? He was better about letting himself get carried away than that, wasn’t he? Normally he knew exactly how far he could go…
He reached out his left arm to rest on the armrest there and flopped over awkwardly, throwing his hand onto the seat to keep from falling into Ahiru’s lap. That’s right, he had pushed the armrest out of the way when had had began. He grabbed it and pulled it back down, stubbornly placing his arm on it.
There was no point panicking over it. So he overestimated a little. She had obviously enjoyed herself at the time - she wasn’t completely unreceptive. He’d just know to be more careful the next time he got a chance to be with this girl. That was all. There was no reason to let her see any sort of regret on his part, either - if he seemed more at ease with the situation, then perhaps she would. He forced himself to relax, leaning against the back of his chair again and crossing his legs.

Ahiru merely sat back and avidly watched the rest of the movie. However, feeling that she might have been too abrupt with removing herself from his lap after their heated little necking session, she was a little worried that Mytho might have been offended or felt bad about it. So in order to let him know he hadn't done anything wrong, she reached her right hand to hover above the arm rest where his lay, before settling down on top of it lightly, her fingers curling around his.

The boy’s golden eyes glanced over at Ahiru when he felt a hand grasp his own. Hm, maybe she wasn’t as upset as he had thought…
What an odd girl. It was like she wasn’t sure how far she wanted him to go, or something. It aggravated him a little - it made her so much harder to understand. As much as he enjoyed them, he was starting to feel that women might be a little too unpredictable.

Then again, she wasn’t a bad companion…he turned over his arm so that he could grasp her hand in his and gave it a quick squeeze to let her know he understood the message she was giving him (even if he actually didn’t completely understand). After that, he settled back into his chair and watched the last minutes of the movie. True love won in the end (of course), the third wheel of the triangle found his own soul mate, everyone was happy and blah blah blah. Boring and generic, as he thought.
He blinked as the lights in the theater slowly came on and his eyes readjusted. He cleared his throat, then spoke. “So, did you…enjoy the movie?”
He turned towards the girl sitting next to him to gauge her reaction. (Was she blushing? Yes, it looked like she possibly was. That was a good sign, he assumed. …He hoped.)

The redhead hadn't really seen enough of the movie to judge whether she really liked it or not, but despite that, she nodded her head. "Y-Yeah. It was good." She managed one quick glance at him before looking away, feeling her cheeks heat up all over again. And amidst the slight timidness that surfaced inside of her, she kept her hand firmly held with his, still determined not to let go until she really had to.

Either Ahiru hadn’t understood his code for ‘were you OK with what just happened?’ or she had mixed feelings about it. Or both. It was getting more and more difficult to tell. Regardless, her hand was still gripping his own, firmly. That was a good enough sign. He stood up and, hands still entangled, began to lead her down the stairs and towards the exit.
“Well, good,” he said, glancing back to make sure he hadn’t left anything they’d need by their seats. “I’m glad you did. I enjoyed it.”

ahiru, mytho
