SLYTHERIN VS. HUFFLEPUFF MATCH
The match you've all been waiting for!
- Game start! There is a definite tension in the air for everyone, the recent events with the mud graffiti not yet forgotten.
- Hufflepuff starts the match off with an early lead with team Captain Roxas scoring on the Slytherin keeper. He seems very determined and focused. (10 - 0 Hufflepuff)
- Continuing the lead, Natalya scores as well, putting the score at 20 - nil. The Quaffle gets to Xion but she drops it, and it is caught by Slytherin Chaser Eridan. This seems to incense Xion and she chases him down with her broom, which Eridan seems to think is a challenge, causing a full minute of broom aerials from the two of them before Slytherin Captain Lili barks at Eridan.
- The snitch is spotted early! Billy starts to go for it, but Lili is faster and cuts off his flying, perhaps to allow more points to accumulate.
- This distraction causes Natalya snatch the quaffle and score again, putting the score at 30 - 0 with Hufflepuff still in the lead. Dave seems like he was tired of that bullshit and scores on Rapunzel. (30- 10 Hufflepuff)
- There is a flurry of scoring, with Hufflepuff doing the bulk of it. The Slytherin beaters are picking up some of the slack, but the score stands at 80 - 30 with Hufflepuff in the lead.
- Roxas takes the quaffle and is going to score again, but stops to avoid a bludger aimed by Puck. Quaffle still in hand, he flies upside down and drops it for Xion to catch. Xion nearly reaches it in time, but it's intercepted by Georgia.
- Georgia goes for the goal posts but has to swerve to avoid two bludgers heading her way. Lili shouts for her to pass to Eridan who is nearby, but she passes to Dave instead, who scores. (80 - 40 Hufflepuff)
- There is the glimmer of the snitch once again which Billy is right on the tail of and it dives downward, both him and Lili gunning for the ground, but it makes a hair pin turn and a stray bludger cuts them both off. Both seekers try to locate it, but it's disappeared.
- Eridan scores in the meantime, with an excess of fancy flying gestures and grinning toward the crowd. He gets the quaffle again and Xion dives right towards him to snatch it from his grasp. She shoots it right through the middle hoop. (90 - 50 Hufflepuff)
- There seem to be a lot of cheers and someone in the crowd is heard to shout "GIVE IT UP, MUGGLEBORN HATERS!" to a smattering of applause and some outrage.
- If anything, this seems to charge both teams with energy, and the match kicks into high gear, with the Slytherin Chasers in particular trying to make up for lost time with a sudden burst of scoring, some of which Rapunzel is unable to block. (100 - 80 Hufflepuff)
- Puck aims a bludger Natalya's way and gets her in her side, making her drop the Quaffle which Georgia then scores with. (100 - 90 Hufflepuff) Natalya recovers the quaffle once more, but Eridan snatches it while blowing her a kiss.
- There is another flash of something as Natalya angrily pursues Eridan but it ends up being one of Natalya's knives as she attempts to shank Eridan. Lili shouts a warning and Natalya just misses him. Professor Ein sees this and calls a foul.
- Dave takes the foul shot, but Rapunzel blocks it, putting the quaffle back in the hands of Roxas. Roxas scores and says something to Eridan, to much glubbing. (110 to 90 Hufflepuff)
- Puck shoots a well-aimed bludger at Roxas' leg to keep him from scoring again, which Georgia uses as an opportunity to score on Rapunzel. Xion and Natalya score for Hufflepuff twice each, but its clear that the Chasers from both teams are getting worn out. (150 to 100 Hufflepuff)
