01. When you die what would you most like people to do when they hear your name?
Ask for more stories about your adventures;
I chose this answer but I'd like it to encompass more than just my adventures - who I was, what was I like, pictures of me, favorite memories of me. Death is so final - you spend your life with someone and at any point in time that life can be taken away from you. I guess I'd just want people not to forget me, more than anything else.. I'd want to keep living in spirit.

02. What power would you like to have?
Mind reading; invisibility
This was a difficult choice between mind reading and invisibility, and I originally chose mind reading for the following thought process: I think it'd help keep me grounded, and in a way I would feel one step ahead of everyone else. It'd be a burden I think, but for some reason I feel like hopefully it'd be more useful than anything else.

If I could go back, I'd change my answer to invisibility though. After thinking about this for a long time, I don't think I would want to be a mind reader. I have good relationships with people and I'm not sure I'd want to mess that up by being even more paranoid than I am now >.> I'd like being invisible because I can see it coming in handy - if I just want to get away, or be a spy, or break a few rules I could do so fairly easily and without consequence.

03. What are you most looking forward to learning at Hogwarts?
Apparition and disapparition;
Of course I'd love to learn about every area of magic I can - I think I'd feel like Hermione in that this new world has opened itself up to me, I'll take what I can get so let me read up on everything! However, there's just a personal interest I have in apparition and disapparition - I love to travel and see new things, but I hate having to drive/fly anywhere. And it wouldn't waste any of my time, unlike muggle transportation >:| AND I wouldn't have to navigate around crazy people that should not be allowed to drive.

04. Which road tempts you the most?
The cobbled street lined with ancient buildings;
I love exploring the woods but the curious side of me would especially love the ancient buildings, I like to look and explore old buildings very much.. I've toured about all of the historical buildings in my city that I can find, and I've gone back a second time for a few. There's something about viewing a piece of history, and even more so being able to go inside and view it from the way that people did that lived during that time. It's enchanting. As I write this I just returned from a small town that had lots of old buildings and shops lining the street - I spent a lot of time just walking up and down the sidewalk, grabbing some ice cream, eating at an old pub listening to good music.. I love surrounding myself with reminders of history.

05. Four boxes are placed before you. Which do you open?
The gleaming jet black box with a silver lock and key, marked with a mysterious rune that you know to be the mark of Merlin;
Anything with the mark of Merlin on it sounds like a pretty interesting box to me! The other choices are all tempting to me as well, but this one I'd open because I'd be curious if it contains some sort of history or something that I could uncover. I'd want to open the squeaking box with the animal, just to see if it needed help, but the paranoid side of me would be suspicious. I wouldn't be interested in the box with secret knowledge, unbearable temptation because it sounds like something that could potentially drive me crazy - I can be an incredibly curious person but I am very cautious. And I will admit I'd be more than interested in the box that only opens for the worthy.. but I'd be rather let down if it decided not to open for me :P

06. You are walking and come to a crossroads. Which path do you take?
The path that leads to a castle;
I chose this, but I'd love to go by the beach too, because I love the beach. However, I am fond of the extraordinary and I don't often get to walk along paths that lead to castles. I'd want to explore what was along the road, inside the castle, and who it belonged to. I'd be curious of how old it was, who lived here, and just what history it has or the stories it could tell me.

07. Which item would you pick out of a chest?
Rolled-up scroll;
What does it say? What could it tell me? It could be a map to some place wonderful or a note, I don't know.. but I'd want to. Honestly the other options weren't all that tempting for me - I feel like I could find a dagger, book, mirror anywhere so I think I'd just pick the scroll to wonder what it is for.

08. How would you like to be remembered in history?
Being Wise;
I'd want to be remembered as a lot of things, but out of the options wise appeals to me the most. I'd like to think that I have learned from my experiences, and that I can share what I've learned with others. I'd want to be considered wise because it seems like a wise thing to want to be ;)

09. Would you rather invent a potion that would give you...
Wisdom;
I feel like wisdom can give me glory and power, if I put my mind to it. It might not give me love but maybe it could lead me towards that path.

10. Which do you find most difficult to deal with?
Being ignored;
I loathe being ignored.. I typically blend in the crowd most days any way, and I generally avoid things that give me too much attention. But when I do have something to say I think being ignored would be the most insufferable thing to deal with.

11. Four goblets are placed in front of you, which would you choose to drink?
Foaming, silvery liquid that sparkles as though containing ground diamonds;
I'd choose the chocolatey one but I don't like plums, so this was my next option. It sounded like the next delicious option and that's about as deep as my thoughts went :P

12. A troll has gone berserk in the headmaster’s office and is going to destroy the precious items. In what order would you save the following?
Merlin's books, cure dragonpox potion, student records;
Well I'd say Merlin's books are just irreplaceable. I'd certainly hope that the dragonpox cure can be re-created or rewritten, and I'd be disappointed if student records did not have some sort of back-up or wasn't stored in a very secure place.. that just sounds unorganized. So I'd probably save the books first, cure second, and then the records.. of course I'd prefer to not have to save any of them, and just deal with the troll that's gone berserk instead.

13. Once every century, the Flutterby bush produces flowers that adapt their scent to attract the unwary. What would they smell like to you?
The sea;
I love the smell of the sea, it's salty and fresh. There's wind and there's waves and the smell reminds me of these things.. and if I smelled the sea I think I'd be attracted by the thought of being pulled towards the shore, where the waves can wash my feet and the wind can cool my face.

14. Which would you most hate being called by other people?
Being Ignorant;
I don't generally open my mouth if I don't really know what I'm talking about, because I dislike spreading ideas or opinions around that hold no value. So I think I'd dislike being called ignorant because I try to avoid being considered such.. I think most people would hate to be considered ignorant, but I come across an alarming amount of people that (perhaps unknowingly) say something that is ignorant.. either because they are repeating what someone else is saying or speak before they think. I'm guilty of being ignorant on my really bad days, when I am just too lazy to care... but in general, that's not me.

15. Which would you rather be?
Praised;
I chose this over being liked/trusted because I felt the question of what would you 'rather' be seemed confusing. I would obviously like to be trusted, but only my actions can decide that and so I do not feel like wanting to be trusted is an option.. I know that I can be trusted because I have certain morals for those that put their trust in me.

I'd also like to be liked, but it depends on for what reason. I'm a bit socially awkward so I will admit that it'd be nice if people liked me and it was easy to be more talkative, but in the end I think it's a personal thing and if I can get over it, I'm sure I'm a pleasant enough person to be liked, so there's no need to wish for that.

Praised, however, is something that (to me) relates to success, and I'd love to be praised for the things I work hard at. Why not? Seems appropriate and I know some people that work so hard and don't get enough praise so.. I'd rather be praised, because I will hopefully already be trusted and liked by some.

16. A muggle confronts you and says that they are sure you are a witch or wizard. Do you:
Ask what makes them think so;
I'm curious, mostly. What brought on this, and what do I need to do to avoid being so obviously witchy as to not reveal too much?

17. Which are you most afraid of?
Small Spaces;
I like being out in the open.. outside is best. Being inside a small room for too long tends to stress me out, and being in small spaces with lots of people (in elevators, on the metro) just makes me crazy because I need my personal space.. I usually take the stairs when I can just to avoid being enclosed in the elevator. I like my space!

18. One of your house mates has cheated in a Hogwarts exam by using a self-spelling quill. Now he has come top of the class in Charms, pushing you into second place. Professor Flitwick is suspicious of what happened. He draws you to one side after his lesson and asks you whether or not your classmate used a forbidden quill. What do you do?
Tell Professor Flitwick that he ought to ask your classmate (and resolve to tell your classmate that if he doesn’t tell the truth, you will.);
I'm not confrontational by any means but if I'm working hard at something and I know someone else is cheating ahead of me, I'll confront them about it and tell them what I think. If that doesn't end things then I'd go to the professor, and hope that it would.

19. Which of the following would you most like to study?
Ghosts;
I'll choose ghosts because they are fascinating - I guess I'd be interested in the differences (besides physical) between them now vs when they were still alive. I'd also be interested in figuring out what keeps them here, and if they need/desire basic things like humans do (love, knowledge, power, friendship) etc.

20. A troll stops you and your group at a bridge and demands one of you fight him before you can pass.
Try and trick the troll into letting you all pass without fighting him;
I don't really like giving in to something because someone demands it, so I think I'd try to buy time or focus on how to get around him or tricking him into letting us pass without fighting. Maybe give him something valuable or tasty, or distract him long enough to get through. I'd even be up for trying to find a different route to pass just to be stubborn.

21. What is the first thing you'd explore in a magical garden?
The fat red toadstools that appear to be talking to each other;
All of these things in the garden sound curious and I think I'd be wary, except I don't like apples much so I don't think I'd care one way or another about golden ones. I think I might approach the toadstools first just to see what they could be talking about.

22. Which of the following would you consider the scariest nightmare?
Being in a windowless, dark room with an eye looking through the keyhole;
I am a sleuth - I read up on missing persons/murder cases, I read mystery novels, and I like movies that relate to this. It has made me extremely paranoid - which is sad, but unfortunately true. I think just being in a windowless dark room would freak me out enough, but to have an eye staring at me through a hole I'd feel claustrophobic and panicky, as if all of those cases or books I read are happening to me. So yeah, dnw that.

23. Late at night, walking alone down the street, you hear a peculiar cry that you believe to have a magical source. Do you:
Withdraw into the shadows to await developments, while mentally reviewing the most appropriate defensive and offensive spells, should trouble occur?
I don't do anything without making plans first - this includes vacations, homework/projects, even going out to eat. I have to look up the menu and decide what I want before I get there, it's just a process my brain goes through and if I don't plan these things then I feel out of my element. I like being prepared XD So I definitely think I'd hide and think about the most appropriate plan of action before doing anything else..

24. Which do you prefer?
1. Moon
2. Stars; what can I say - I'm a dreamer.

25. Which do you prefer?
1. River
2. Forest

; I hate rivers but love oceans - and I really love the forest as well, I pretty much grew up in one. I like exploring nature and listening to the different animals all around me.

26. Which do you prefer?
1. Dawn; if you asked me this a year ago I would've said dusk, and I am hardly ever awake for this but I absolutely love seeing the world before everyone wakes up, when I can. When I go to the beach I have to get up at 5 or 6am just to listen to everything waking up around me, and seeing the sun come up. It feels like a new beginning, and I like that.
2. Dusk

27. Which piece would you choose while playing chess?
1. Black ; I am drawn to dark clothing, dark jewelry, and I guess I'd be drawn to the black chess piece. Just personal preference, I think black looks better on me than white.
2. White

28. You arrive at a fork in the road. Not knowing what lies down either way, do you go…
1. Right
2. Left; I don't really want to choose either because I am a visual person, and I think I'd be more inclined by what I see on either side than by just simple direction. But I guess I'd choose left just because it's the first thing I thought of.
