For those who forgot, the 10th and 11th novels came out on May 25th as a dual release thing. This blog post has collected the spoilers quite nicely with continual updates, and this imageboard thread has a lot of the illustrations and cover images and such. If anybody else has info or files relevant, please share!

I've been thinking about this all day and I'm so torn. I want to wait until I can read the novel in full, but I really want to know what happens! And I have no idea when I'll be able to read it for real...

I cannot lie, I am a spoiler junkie. Besides, light novels are a much longer translating job than episodes or manga chapters so the wait's just too long... though at this point I just want to get my paws on some raws and see what I can do on my own. It's been a few days by now. I guess it's slower because scanning 600 pages would take forever, but I do hope someone puts it up eventually.

See, personally my priorities are a bit skewed. While I'm excited about new canon (two books! at once!) my main concern is that I was about to start posting this massive 75000-word future-fic I've been working on for 18 months, and I'm worried the new developments will mess up my canon compliance.

I thought I could wait, but now that the novels are out I'm starting to wish I'd ordered a set in Japanese. I bought the first three in Japanese before Little Brown started translating them and I can still read th language well enough to have some idea of what's going on...

Oh wow. No, man, if I had worked on something for that long I'd be pretty attached too. I'm sure people would read it even if continuity fucked up- I mean, it's not like it's uncommon to see fic fucked up by continuing canons- but yeah, good luck!

I think I'm going to get a set in JP when I go to the city this weekend. I probably shouldn't, my JP isn't good enough that I could read it straight through or anything, but I've been getting better so I guess I could waste some money in the name or practice... we'll see. XD
