Am I really so bored around here lately that I'm resorting to this? Isn't what Haruki makes me do enough? Why am I going to willingly subject myself to this? Well, it's something to do and there's only so much I can do just hanging out in my apartment and wandering around town all day, but still!

Sigh. I'm going to regret this.So.... what kind of ( Read more... )

If you're too thick in the head to even read the damn guide, is school really going to help?

Well, it's been months since I got here. Sorry if I forgot the thing even existed.

Ugh. Figures I'd make myself look like an idiot when I ask about it.

Some people like hearing what it's like from the people going to classes instead of just reading about it.

Try being a bit more specific. You'll get better answers.

Like what, then? Are there any classes that don't give out too much homework, but I won't be bored in?

I'll try then, thanks. Sorry about that.

Beats sitting around being bored for months on end. Sigh. I'm beginning to think I really am a masochist or something.

I know. Might as well beat him to the punch before he signs me up for them.

Most classes aren't that bad. It's easier than back home, anyway.

The available classes are mathematics, science, composition, art, world sharing, and the study of the spirits' magic.

After you take the test, you're grouped according to your level.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but.... Let me guess, just go to the building and ask to get tested?

That's all there is to it. Although, the students are still out on a break right now due to the weather, so you might want to ask one of the professors to meet you there first, if you were interested in attending.

The classes cover a wide range of topics--I think someone said that they're pretty standard for schools? Either way, it's been a good experience. The teachers are very helpful.

From what people keep saying, it sounds a lot like the schools from back home. Which isn't too bad.

It's something to do around here, so it helps with that...and it's a good way to meet more people, too.

Why should I?

Why am I arguing when I know how this will end?!

Because you're a Japanese high school student; it's only natural to continue schooling.

We're not exactly in Japan, Haruki. Again: WHY?!
