I was half way between democrat and centrist on the socialist side. All these people seem to not be very tolerant of letting people do what they want to do. Even you. I would have thought you to be the kind of person to just live and let live, but whatever. I just thought it was funny that this thing called me a democrat because all the democrats I know think completely different than I do.

Well, the thing is, a lot of these "civil liberties" are things like gun control and the right to deny the holocaust happened and things like that.

The kinds of things that turn people into ignorant assholes and make them make stupid decisions, or the kind of things that get people hurt, spiritually and mentally as well as physically. And my nonpermissive things are all on the economic side; socially I am VERY permissive. 81%, in fact! Go freedom to reject society's norms!
