How horrible for everyone involved. Just nerve wracking. ..... but again, I love it whenever Cas interacts with Dean and Bobby. And I do wonder where Cas got all of his info on human trauma. Maybe from one of Dean's books ;-) .

I actually think so, too. Maybe not Dean's books, but this Castiel is quite methodical and has a lot of time on his hands while keeping an eye on his favorite humans. In my headcanon of this 'verse, Cas actually went and talked to some of the authors in person because let's face it, he's not exactly an expert on all things human yet. In fact, one or two ideas for new books on (strange) human behaviour might have been sparked by his visits.

I just realized that I have a lj now and can in fact leave reviews. I just wanted to say that this story has made me ache in all the right ways. Its so sad, yet so hopeful. It is also beautifully descriptive. I can't seem to put it down! I can't wait to get to the ending, but I will be sad when I do. I don't find stories this enthralling very often.
