[It's Peter's birthday, and his creepy Drone-Wife has prepared him a cake. After coming home from work, she's placed a paper birthday hat on his head and invited him to the kitchen. [ Ilsa sees him with the hat. She actually wrestles with herself about telling him or not, but it's not like she hates him... and if it is his birthday, he needs to have someone who's aware to acknowledge it. ]

Nice hat. Your birthday?

[His face twists a bit with confusion at the first comment, and then a bit of embarrassment when he realizes he's still wearing the thing. Venkman snatches it off of his head in one quick sweep, crumbling it into a ball in his fist.]

I hope it's a good one, at least as good as you can manage here.

Thanks. The old lady made a cake, but I'm not sure if I trust her cooking.

[ Ilsa sighs, and shakes her head. This is one of Egon's friends, after all. ]

What sort of cake do you like, then?

I'm not picky... [He raises an eyebrow.]

...Oh no, you don't have to do that.

And have you waste away without someone noticing? Not likely. I'll just ask Egon, then.

Something tells me I won't be wasting away any time soon.

Besides, Egon's meeting me for dinner. Any time he's involved it automatically involves cake of some sort.

[ Waves and heads on her way, with one parting shot. ]
