I've noticed more and more lately that when people talk about my artwork, they refer to it as "3D" art. While its true that I do create the base figures in a 3D environment, the images are rendered as 2D, then the process of creation really unfolds when I open it up in photoshop and painter and "paint" in 2D

I've been the opposite of you lately...oh so DESPERATELY IN NEED of a social life. I haven't gone out on the town and/or seen any friends in about 3 weeks. : (
Looks like Plans a and b have been scrapped so I'm probably just going to the McMinnville fireworks with my boy. That won't be so bad, I always have fun taking him places. But I still want to go out and play afterwards. :D

Usually images will hit me out of nowhere in the oddest of places. I come up with the bulk of my new concepts in the shower. : ) Sometimes the expression on someones face, or a certain pose will catch my attention, and I'll try and capture that moment, and then let it flow from there. And other times I visualize characters that I simply cannot get out of my head until I finish the picture; Shamanka was one of those. That's pretty much the bare basics there. I'll probably explain more some other time since some of the images deal with more personal issues that I don't want to explain publicly. : P
