Before and After

I've noticed more and more lately that when people talk about my artwork, they refer to it as "3D" art. While its true that I do create the base figures in a 3D environment, the images are rendered as 2D, then the process of creation really unfolds when I open it up in photoshop and painter and "paint" in 2D ( Read more... )

THANK YOU!!!!!!! It means a lot to me to hear that. Really! : )

I've been the opposite of you lately...oh so DESPERATELY IN NEED of a social life. I haven't gone out on the town and/or seen any friends in about 3 weeks. : (

Looks like Plans a and b have been scrapped so I'm probably just going to the McMinnville fireworks with my boy. That won't be so bad, I always have fun taking him places. But I still want to go out and play afterwards. :D

I had a pretty good time. It think it more enjoyable to go "HAW HAW!!" whenever some of the fireworks would shot off sideways or low to the ground than the big displays in the sky. : )

Usually images will hit me out of nowhere in the oddest of places. I come up with the bulk of my new concepts in the shower. : ) Sometimes the expression on someones face, or a certain pose will catch my attention, and I'll try and capture that moment, and then let it flow from there. And other times I visualize characters that I simply cannot get out of my head until I finish the picture; Shamanka was one of those. That's pretty much the bare basics there. I'll probably explain more some other time since some of the images deal with more personal issues that I don't want to explain publicly. : P
