[Phone, around 6:35 PM]

... Yo, did anybody else just see that on TV? "Future events such as these will affect you in the future", huh? As much as I'd like to criticise the fact that he was being captain obvious, I'm a tad concerned about what it could possibly mean here...

The wording was indicative of something that would be expected to happen in the future. In the 1950s, fear of nuclear war was a common theme. That the tone was in alignment with that used on a venue of entertainment indicates a lesser threat; possibly extraterrestrial invasion as evidenced by the broadcast of the War of the Worlds in 1938.

Extraterrestrials, huh? By any chance, would you be able to phone home and tell the invaders to stay there?

That... was not supposed to happen. I'm pretty sure.

... Yeah, I'm pretty sure it qualifies as seriously bad news.

What's the general Mayfield plan, for this sort of thing?

Something will occur, quite possibly involving mass amounts of hellish legions, danger lurks behind every corner and people start turning up dead.

Less "obvious" than "redundant". I am curious as to what this foretells.

Both obvious and redundant I'd say.

That particular statement anyway. What they're actually foretelling remains a mystery though.

Yeah, it would've been nice if we could've gotten some more details on that front.
