The generalized paranoia my imagination developed has caused me to become mortally terrified of the vacuum-cleaner at work. Laugh if you must, but I am completely serious. Seattle Proper and the surrounding areas are enjoying a lovely drought/heatwave of desert proportions. I remember a few years ago when July 4th still meant a good chance of showers, rain, and highs of 70 during a shy sunshine break peering tentitively for an hour or so out from behind a cloud. I'm finishing up page 6 out of fifteen and am currently finishing my discussion of stanza 13 of "the ecstasy"'s 19 stanzas. I haven't even begun to fully integrate the use of my sources let alone get to his Devotions. Come on brain. You still have an exam to study for! -

Baking soda scrub.
Baking soda-ed it up last night. Made a scrub out of good ol' Arm & Hammer and good ol' H20. Initial reaction is good. I think I may have found a solution that doesn't take off my skin outside of what needs to be exfoliated. Maybe I need to ditch the soap all together. Fair warning. This is going to be disgusting. I'm going into a detailed description of acne issues because I'm hoping that maybe someone out there that reads this or comes across this or whatever will see it and somehow divine providence will make it that they have the magic answer to all my skin problems. One of my friends from high school passed away on Thursday....
I just found out last night after being evacuated into the basement of the concert hall mid performance because of possible tornados.
There were no tornados.
We were playing a Requiem.
I want to curl up and not think anymore.
