i have come to the decision to refer to exes as friends. you know, like when you are talking about something that someone did that relates to something happening now? instead of saying "i had an ex whose penis looked like a snail," i will say "i had a friend whose penis looked like a snail." not that i have actually met anyone whose penis looks

Eh. Since I'm still friends with most of my exes, I don't make the negative connotation, I guess. These relationships didn't end, they just changed. Besides, it's FUN to see ppl's reactions when I tell them things like "I spent the weekend with my ex and her boyfriend..."
