I know, right? But the thing is...I really quite like the retro style of it. DAMNIT.

I can't get over that they seem to have the same hair colour... freaky. :)

Sorry, no idea where to find it though. Good luck. :)

Freaky? Would it be rude of me to ask why it's freaky? Just the long-established head!canon that Watson's blonde and Holmes is raven-haired?

Thanks! It seems to be out of print, but you never know...:)

Its not rude to ask. :) Its just that I'm so used to Watson being blonde and Holmes dark brownish. Its a physical aspect that reflects how different they are (apart from the obvious such as Watson's limp and 'tache.)

I've just gotten used to a blonde Watson and a darker haired Holmes, to be honest. With the same hair colour, they look more like brothers than flatmates/friends. Which just doesn't fit my head canon. :)

I thought so. :) It really threw me off as well and I had to do a triple take, piece my head!canon back together, and look at it again. The tanned one should be Watson! He should have rocking mo'! What were you thinking JET (artist/author)?! Ironically enough, she/he apparently did another adaption that was much more faithful to the original - from the tiny pictures of the covers of the second adaption, it was pretty much a Brett!Holmes in manga form...weird, isn't it?

... Seriously? I can see how that broke your brain. It's Japan though, I'm not that surprised anymore about most stuff they come up with. XD

That second link is the same artist? Really? Huh... The more you know I guess. I bet it'd be amusing to read though. (Even if it's just to see what they all got wrong).

See, I thought that I had gotten over the eccentricities of Japan. Then I saw this. Now I doubt myself. :s

I really would love to read it.

...Japan'll just get more eccentricities you'll have to get used to. It's Japan after all.

Aren't there scanlations about? (I'm all for buying, but as I'm usually a poor student I enjoy scanlations as well :P)

There's nothing. Absolutely nothing. I've tried every variation of the name and there's a couple of pages (in German! HA, oh the irony!) on it.

I'm bracing myself for the culture shock I'll probably receive when travelling in Japan at the end of the month.

...dear, sweet, taint-chaffing...I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at this elegantly drawn mess XD Let us know if you find any copies; this looks to be a 'so bad, it's good' read. :)

Laugh. It makes it easier to handle.

I'll let you know when I read the books. In fact, I'll probably make a HUGE fuss over it, so no worries there. :D
