Yorick was busy reading, and glanced up when he heard someone approaching. He stared at Johnny for a moment and then sighed. "Let me guess, you tripped on the stairs?"

Johnny opened his mouth to say, "yes," and then ducked his head, rubbed the back of his neck guiltily. "I got in a fight."

"With who?" he asked, sitting up and putting the book aside.

"Sam's pimp. Josh." He reached over Yorick to get to the small first aid kit in the glove compartment.
