Personality: Suu is often compared to a bird via imagery or other character's words, and this is something that applies not only to her living conditions, but also to her personality. Having lived most of her life by herself, Suu never had other people to talk to except for herself. As a consequence, whenever Suu interacts with other people, she comes off as a someone reserved, aloof, and perhaps a little strange. She is the kind of person who rarely speaks more than necessary, and most importantly, someone who is rarely afraid to exteriorize what's on her mind.

This is not to say that Suu is detached or blunt -- on the contrary, Suu is someone who has the ability to develop deep feelings for other people, despite having never had physical contact with them before. And the fact that she's able to voice out her emotions so easily generally stems from the fact that a good part of the time Suu herself has a hard time understanding them and, in a way, putting them into words or asking questions about them allows her to understand them a little better.

On the other hand, and despite her oftentimes childish behaviour, Suu is also very mature when it comes to certain things. As a four-leaf Clover, she is easily the most powerful being in her world, and yet she never attempts to use these powers to her own benefit. Once Kazuhiko picks her up to escort her to Fairy Park, Suu never tries to escape or to rebel against the people who kept her imprisoned for so many years. She understands that her powers are far to great and that the fact that it is absolutely necessary for her to always be alone; for the sake of everyone else.

Which is also the reason why she can calmly state that no one will cry for her when she dies, because no one cares about her. It's not something she says to martyrize herself, but merely what she considers to be the truth. Just like she has learned to always be alone, she is conscious that she will die alone and there isn't much she can do about it. And this, too, is why almost every little thing Suu says is full with this melancholy, this resignation... but at the same time, with a tiny hint of hope that maybe, just maybe, things will be different for her someday.

History: Once upon a time, in a world where both magic and very advanced technology existed, the government decided to start a nation-wide search for children who had special abilities unlike anyone else's. These sorcerer children were named Clovers and classified according to their powers. The least powerful one was dubbed the one-leaf Clover, and the most powerful of them all, the four-leaf Clover. In order to find out the true extent of their powers, these children were experimented on and had a clover tattoeed on their bodies (each tattoo with the same number of leaves their owner was supposed to "possess"). The weakest Clovers were set free, while the most powerful ones were kept under strict vigilance for further investigation and due to safety measures.

It is said that when one finds a four-leaf clover, happiness will be granted to them. However, how would a Clover be able to achieve happiness?

Suu is the only four-leaf Clover in the world. This means that she is the most powerful out of all the Clovers, capable pf defeating the five wizards of the parliamentary council in the blink of an eye. These old men, also referred to as psychics, are the ones behind the Clover Project and the people who "pull the strings" of the government, in a way. They are the ones who decided that the four-leaf Clover should never come into contact with any other living being, because if Suu were to become attached to another person, she would automatically grant them with the power to destroy the world.

And so, Suu grew up all by herself in a garden inside of a big bird cage. Her only companions were killer dolls in the form of a rabbit, a cat, a dog, a parrot, and a few mechanical birds. However, Suu was not completely isolated from the outside world. Being a four-leaf Clover, she had the ability to see everything that happened to the three three-leaf Clovers, and was able to witness how C, one of the triplets, was able to escape from his own cage and start a new life in the company of Gingetsu, the two-leaf Clover.

One day, Suu had a dream of a beatiful singing fairy. Thanks to her abilities as a four-leaf, Suu was able to listen to the voice of a talented singer named Oruha, and immediately fell in love with both her music and her voice. She learned her songs by heart and longed for the day she could meet her singing fairy.

General Ko (Grandma Ko, to Suu), allowed for Suu to establish contact with Oruha through a phonecall. And even though Suu couldn't explain many things to Oruha (such as how she was able to listen to her songs despite never being to the night club, or how she had obtained her phone number) they became very good friends in a very short time. Oruha would often tell Suu about Kazuhiko, the man that she loved, and how she had longed for happiness all of her life. Suu, in turn, would tell Oruha how she had always been alone, and that no one would cry for her on the day that she died. Oruha said that she would cry for her, because she considered Suu a very dear friend, and asked Suu if she wanted to write a song together with her.

On the night of Oruha's birthday, she told Suu the story about how ten years ago she had been part of government experiments and labeled as a one-leaf Clover. That her only ability consisted in knowing the exact day and time of her death, and that that moment would be that night. Suu cried and begged Oruha not to go, but it was all to no avail. Oruha went on stage and dedicated her song to her two most important people. Unfortunately, Oruha didn't get to finish her song, since a sniper shot her through her chest and caused her death.

Desolate, and making use of her powers, Suu created a statue to the image she believed Oruha to have. Thanks to General Ko, this statue was placed in the center of an amusement park, and made to constantly play recording of both Oruha's and Suu's voice singing their song -- "Clover."

Years later, Ryuu F. Kazuhiko, Oruha's former lover and ex-soldier, was called into duty once again for a very important mission. He had to deliver "a very important thing."

This very important thing turned out to be Suu, who upon meeting Kazuhiko for the very first time asked if he would be the one to take her "there."

With the help of Gingetsu (Kazuhiko's old friend and superior), and Ran (formerly known as the three-leaf Clover "C"), Kazuhiko and Suu both began a journey to a mysterious place. Suu wouldn't talk much at first, but the more she came to know Kazuhiko, the more attached to him she became. They talked about Kazuhiko's former lover, and how Suu loved her songs, and in more than one occasion, they came to save each other's life.

Their destination turned out to be Fairy Park -- the amusement park where Oruha's statue resided. Suu told Kazuhiko everything about being a four-leaf Clover, and apologized for pretending not to know anything about Oruha, when in reality, they were both close friends. She told Kazuhiko that she had asked Grandma Ko to place the statue there because Oruha had said she loved amusement parks, and that she wished she could one day be in this place with Kazuhiko and Oruha; with people who didn't care about her powers.

Sadly, as soon as Suu came to realize her feelings for Kazuhiko and voiced them out, the park started to fall apart thanks to the power of the Wizards. Kazuhiko became heavily injured in an attempt to protect Suu once more, and had to be taken away by Gingetsu.

Meanwhile, Suu, sat on the neck of the decapitated statue and began to sing as Fairy Park was swallowed by a big explosion. Suu had been let out under the condition that as soon as she reached her destination, she would destroy herself. Suu accepted, because she wanted to try and find happiness this way.

In the end, though, she was able to. Even if this was at the cost of her own life.

Strengths: As a four-leaf Clover, Suu posseses phenomenal cosmic powers that should grant anyone she comes to love with the ability to rule the world. These powers are never shown in detail, but a few of the things that we know is that she is able to hear any soundwave, no matter how small. She can create mechanical things out of thin air, and she can manipulate certain devices (ie: she can talk to Oruha on the phone despite not using a telephone herself, etc.) She also has a pair of mechanical wings that grow from her back whenever she needs them to, and that allow her to fly.

Also, as mentioned before, she is able to track lower leafs' down and determine their strengths.

As far as mental strengths go, Suu is especially good at figuring other people's feelings out. And, in a way, she is also strong when it comes to her own circumstances. She is well aware that she needs to live all of her life by hemself, and yet we never see her being truly depressed about her. She may not be happy with her destiny, but nevertheless, she is able to bear it without shedding a tear.

Weaknesses: Her number one weakness are definitely her loved ones, namely, Oruha and Kazuhiko. Suu would pretty much do anything for them, to the point of sacrificing herself without thinking. And in a complete opposite to her strengths, Suu isn't exactly good when it comes to understanding her own feelings. It's usually another person the one who makes her realize what's the meaning behind certain emotions, and what they are called.
