So, the other weekend was completely exhausting, and yet completely awesome as well! On Friday night I went pretty much directly from work, to go with the Goth-daughter and family and friends to see her younger sister's final dance recital. It's great to hear how well the Gothdaughter is doing! I don't think you need to worry about "Cat's in the Cradle" syndrome happening to you, though. You *listen*.
Now that I have lived in a more rural setting for some years, I cannot believe I ever managed to put up with city life. Now I am one of those outsiders, who drive to a T station on the edge of one of the lines and T in whenever I want to go into the city.
Heh... just like me, eh? Oddly enough, H is trying to get me to consider retiring into the city (since by then I probably won't be able see well enough to drive), and he's starting to win me over to the idea.
Loved the account of Riley at the MOS! I'm so glad you have a cool kid like her in your life!
And I absolutely love the photo of Doc; graceful curves that remind me of some of the aboriginal art I saw in Australia.
