My sympathies on losing Finn, and anticipating losing Maddie.

That's a really adorable picture of Finn. I hope, with time, that you will find more joy than sorrow in your memories of him.

*hugs* I'm sorry for your loss of Finn, I always thought Finn was the most amusing little dog I'd ever met and not just because his tongue was always outside his mouth but how he enjoyed scritches and was always so friendly. Hang in there!

My deepest sympathy for loosing your Finn, plus lots of love to Maddie.
*hugs* Loosing a pet is so difficult. They are family.
Remember the wonderful life you gave him and all of the love he brought into your life too.

*hugs* and much sympathy for your loss, I know it all too well myself. If it makes you feel even a little bit better, the lovely vets over in Britain made it a requirement of all dog shows that the winners have to pass a physical examination to prove they are appropriate breeding dogs - and the first show this occurred led to every single winner below 15 lbs being disqualified as unfit. I'm hoping this gives the breeders the jolt they need to breed for healthy dogs, not just pretty ones.

Thanks you for that information dear lady... it's a start. Of course, I somehow imagine that the "requirements for being an appropriate breeding dog", do not include actually being able to give birth to the puppies. Because that would mean all pugs, bulldogs and all the other dogs that cannot actually birth their own young but need a c-section would be forever disqualified. But, like I said, it's a start, and I very much hope the trend continues, but I still think the shows should be banned.
