Since I now actually have friends and am no longer a lurker in the Livejournal community, I figured I should share a little about myself. You know, in case you care or what not ( Read more... )

I feel like writing lists now too :D

- I want to travel the world so much! I'm planning an epic North America road trip atm, but sadly I don't see myself having the time or the money to do it in the next few years.
If you some day end up in northern Europe, you're welcome to come sleep on my couch! :)

- My journal is locked and partly filtered because I don't want my RL friends to read everything I write (trust issues, I have them too...)

- Aww, dogs! ♥ Do you have a dog?

Lists are lots of fun. :)

If you ever figure out how to make the NA trip - my couch is always free as well! (If I live somewhere remotely interesting and am successful enough to have a couch. If I don't - well, my floor is free.)

I do have a dog. :) Two as a matter of fact. Their names are Lady and Lana and I love them to the depths of my heart.

Hello. I'm in between classes and thought I might leave a point-for-point reply. Quid pro quo and all that. Ahh la la makes me think of Hannibal in The Silence of the Lambs. How sexy could that man be ( ... )

I love this. Hannibal creeps me out but I would marry Anthony Hopkins in a heart beat ( ... )

Yeah - I suppose I should have clarified. I meant more the trust issue thing. Its more that I inevitably will draw away from people once we start to form a close friendship - the type where people expect you to start sharing things about your inner self.

Yay, a list! Here is one of my own, in response:

- Reading is my life. I spent my childhood known as "the girl who reads." When I was little, if I got into trouble, my parents banned me from reading, and made me watch television instead.

- London is wonderful and amazing. I lived in Oxford for about 4 months when I was in college, studying abroad for the term, and it was magical. I miss England SO much, and London as well, and I really want to go back to visit one day.

- I love fashion. I have gotten over the fact that some people assume that I'm shallow because I like clothes and shoes, because the people who really know men understand that I'm not. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with liking fashion and being interested in it ( ... )

Lists are amazing. :)

MY MOM DID TOO!!!! She used to take my books and hide them when I got in trouble. Then, when she wasn't looking, I would find them and read them until she started paying attention again and I would put them back in the hiding place.

SO. SO. JEALOUS.

Exactly! People equate enjoying fashion and style and shopping with shallowness but they are not the same thing at all.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind!

I Love when people write a lot! I look forward to getting to know you too! :)
