 Screw life.

I have no idea what I want to be and every time I decide what I want to be someone (read: my mother) shoots my idea down.

I want to become an author and live in France.

Then go whatever you have to do. Write, write, write. Write a book, start a blog, volunteer at a newspaper, whatever you gotta do to get your work in print. Then, save monies for France.

I told my parents when I was 10 years old that I would move to California & work in the gaming industry. I told myself I would accomplish this by 21. I did it at 20. No one believed me, everyone put me down, my parents were especially assholes to me. But that never stopped me.

You can do ANYTHING.
