Most people would rather watch a hot pursuit in the show "Cops" than see a scientist explain his theory with complex mathematics. Also, TV news must be fast.

if there's something that looks interesting, watch that.
just because something is mostly crappy doesn't mean that you have to scrap the entire thing and give it up completely. All-or-nothing is not all you have.
