if you don't enjoy it, then don't watch it.
if there's something that looks interesting, watch that.
just because something is mostly crappy doesn't mean that you have to scrap the entire thing and give it up completely. All-or-nothing is not all you have.

True, but the only things I tend to watch are cooking shows, designing shows and anime. And I can always just by episodes of the shows I like on DVD and watch them on my computer. It'd be more fun than buying cable, and probably cheaper! I can save all that money for buying, like, computer stuff and vegan chocolate. Muahaha. :3
After all, thrift is... the heart of... awesome, or however that phrase goes. Hey, I'm not Catholic.
