This week, for me at least, has been the emotional equivalent of several cosmetic procedures including but not limited to a breast augmentation and/or reduction, a facelift, and the amputation of several important limbs.

The point being, I haven't changed that much, but the person I was a week ago- a fucking week ago would be so shocked to see

Kayla, this entry was very... poignant. And very meaningful. Probably much more so than if you had written it while drunk. It's a slap of reality that you've faced this past week. And it's weird to think that life has always been that way, important, significant, and ever changing... it's just a matter of whether or not we acknowledge it or not. Of course we stand to gain as much as we stand to lose and that's the happy, beautiful part. Especially if we're willing to stop hiding behind vices and embrace life. Look what you did - you made me get philosophical too, and it isn't even 2 anymore.
At any rate, I know we haven't been very close in a long time but you know I'm always here for you. :)
