And I very much sympathize with Elizabeth and her reaction to cat "presents". It's very timely,too, as today a goddamn MOUSE WAS RUNNING AROUND MY OFFICE AT WORK. Get that James cat over here right now!

I swear I posted this before you posted about your mouse at work. Where did you find such hopeless pest control people? I hope they were paying by infestations lifted than by the hour.

I'm sure James the Cat would be only too pleased to be the Scourge of Mousery in your house. However, he would be a little too willing, it seems, to leave them lying around as an example to others. And possibly in a muddle-headed attempt to impress your two girls.

Well, his Uncle Jack would make sure he talked to adults properly, wouldn't he?
