You wouldn't know from this that we must have met about 3 hours before, if that, would you?
It depends what you mean by 'opera related'. We didn't actually see any opera, unless you count me singing outside a Chinese Restaurant on the Earl's Court Road for Ann, Mr Marwalk and a few of Ann's friends (Jay of Lasgellen, paranoidangel and... somebody else, called Margaret from Germany); the first thing we did was go down to see the Royal Opera House, but really there wasn't much to see if you weren't going in, which we weren't- there's a big giftshop, but apart from that, if you're not going in, there's a nice frontage on the wrong side for the square, and then a bare marble lobby, all seemingly presenting the message 'Do you have a ticket? Then GET OUT
( ... )
I would tell you who Margaret is, but this isn't locked and I don't want to blow her LJ cover. :) Will e-mail.
It sounds like you had a wonderful time! I am jealous of people meeting people in far-off places [not as far for you, obviously], although inevitably I end up more quiet and introverty than I mean to be cause I am so very terrible and awkward at New Person Live Interaction. Course after a certain point, you can't shut me up.
