☈ Riku's father was hardly present when it came to raising him. Speaking along the same vein as that, he was still raised in a two parent household. By his mother and grandmother, respectively. His grandfather didn't really think he needed to begin child rearing again. But he would hang out with the kid once and a while (taught him how to fish, etc).
☈ Cannot stand the taste of coffee. He prefers a glass of milk or orange juice in the morning to anything else that he could drink. For a time in his childhood he was convinced only adults drink coffee, so he spent the next year trying to force himself to like it. But he gave up that theory quickly and his mom had kicked him off of it because he would not sleep at night.
☈ At the beginning, he never considered Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie his friends. He only started hanging out with them because Sora did. Their company started growing on him over time.
