Souji stared at the last PM he received and twitched. He'd moved to stand in front of the door before it came in, expecting Aidan to tell him to open the door, but this?

He pulled the door open and shot a look at him.

Aidan was standing there with a paper bag in one hand and his smart phone in the other.

"Woof!" He called out with a grin. "Aww, you shouldn't have!" Aidan stepped in and helped nudge the door closed behind him with a brown loafer. "You like Chinese chicken soup, I hope! The dates they tell me are good for menstrual cycles but I'm sure you can still appreciate it!" He looked for a counter and decided on the mostly empty kitchen counter, setting the bagged chicken soup down.

"What does a menstrual cycle have to do with this?" Souji played along, although there was that sense of doom involved with asking whatever it was Aidan ever planned. But now that Aidan was inside, he could at least lock the door and go back to sitting at his desk.

"I wasn't even aware there was a Chinese chicken soup." Egg drop, sure. But plain chicken soup?

"It's suppose to be healthy! And provides added nutrients!" Aidan pulled the packaged white container out but glanced over at Souji's return to his desk.

"You're still working? What are you doing?"

Souji sorted through the pile of texts and papers on his desk. "Studying. Final exams are coming up and I wanted to refresh my memory. There's a few presentations I need to polish as well."

Somehow, the sound of Aidan rummaging about that takeout bag of his was... soothing. He didn't want to dwell too long on it, as nice as it was. Maybe being sick was addling his brain.

"What's the matter? Is this uncomfortable?" Aidan said in an innocent voice. He let Souji push him away a little but stayed still much closer than normal social etiquette allows for.

"You're going to get sick if you keep leaning that close." But the moment he said it, Souji realized who he was talking to: a Gleipnir user. So much for that logic.

"Aw, Sou-chan! You care so much!" Aidan gave him an almost mocking peck on the cheek before pulling back.

"Who would have known! Considering how little you seem to care about you getting sick! And Umeka too!"

That. That hurt. But then Aidan always knew where it would hurt the most. Really, he hated how Aidan could do that. He shot him a look.

"Are you going to just keep criticizing me while you're here?"
