[The feed turns on to a room that is a little foggy. Mostly smoke but Holmes isn't one to open the window when there is snow outside. He is, however, hazing out the window at the snow. Ah yes, the good doctor. He is as busy here as he was at home. I'm afraid his work is too routine to catch my interest beyond the need for pharmaceuticals.

We have different definitions to interesting it seems. My Watson is a friend, yes. But he is not an enigma.

He is not a case nor is he a puzzle I wish to take apart piece by piece.

Be that as it may, a friend is still a friend, and while you're here complaining about being bored to tears they're going to be worrying about you dying of boredom. That's not a good way to show your camaraderie, however nicely you try to spin it.

[And then he hangs up. Holmes unnerves him, and that ruthless, seemingly cold disregard of what he'd thought was an admirable friendship is upsetting to see. He doesn't want to hear any more.]

[The abrupt hanging up shows more then the attempt to hide any mortification. Holmes is curious now as to just what is happening out there amongst the guest. Perhaps it's time to change from the civilians to studying the one's brought here along with him.]
