[Blair was bored. She believed school was supposed to be kind of fun; at least Maka had always made it seem that way. Plus, she was curious to check out some of the new guests. Maybe she'd find a new toy to play with!

Right in the middle of Professor Stein's lecture Blair made her entrance. She trotted quietly across the room and hopped up onto the teacher's desk, surveying the new students]

[Ryuuji raises an eyebrow when the strange cat walks in, making itself comfortable right in the teachers desk.

He glares at her - something with the way the feline acts doesn't sit right with him.

So much to paying attention and taking notes.]

[If it's one thing cats are good at, it's a staring contest! Blair felt the set of eyes on her, judging her. She was used it and just began a soft purr in response, glaring with her own yellow eyes]

[His eyes narrow some more, the light giving them they own eerie hue of brownish amber.

Still looking at her, he slowly reaches to the side and places a wooden container for water with kanji engraved on it in front of him on his desk. He uncorks it and concentrates. For several moments nothing happens - and then a small tendril of water sneaks out of it, becoming to the cat to try and come closer.]

[ Rhode made sure they were sitting at the far back of the classroom- As far from Stein as physically possible. She's actually listening, but based on the lovely little doodles she's making on the edge of the desk, you wouldn't really be able to tell. ]

[Oh, and her partner is with her. If you bug Rhode, you're going to end up bugging him too. T^Tb]

[It certainly looked like Keroro had been busily taking notes because the table in front of him was covered in paper with illustrations and equations.

Although on closer inspection...had Stein really been talking about the amount of cow-print material necessary to make a cow costume for a huge rat...? And he definitely hadn't been talking about the schematics for an extra-large live-catch mouse trap.]

[Anise was taking notes down as well but there was only so much she could take. While she was sitting near a frog, she noticed something odd about his notebook.]

So...what are you drawing?

[And because he's actually really proud of the progress he's been making on phase two of his plan to conquer Leo's apartment, Keroro pushes the notebook closer to Anise in order to give her a better look.]

It's a cow costume, de arimasu. I'm going to catch a giant sewer rat and then dress it up, de arimasu. It isn't quite done yet, because I still need the measurements, but the pattern is pretty much finished, de arimasu.

[....what]

And how do you know if a giant sewer rat exists here in Death City? And why a cow costume? It's pretty silly if you ask me.

[Kei takes notes in a stern look] [This is quite important material so better not to lose anything of it]

[Ryuuji comes in late and takes a seat next to him without asking first.]

Oi.

[Maintains his serious expression] [Glances Ryuuji for a second, saying-] Hello [At the same time his gaze is on him] [His eye is directed again to Stein, and continues taking notes]

[Writes, writes, writes]

[He sits down with a huff, placing a block and a pen on the table in front of him though he doesn't start taking any notes just yet.

Getting the gist is enough in his opinion.]

Did I miss something important?

[He focuses on everything that he hears, diligently taking notes. They're a bit of a mess, though. He doesn't write all that neatly because he doesn't write much at all. There are also some decorations of stick figures doing dramatic, nay, dynamic attacks in the margins. Most of them are a pair with bowl cuts, one figure shorter than the other, against someone with a giant sword and what might look like gills.]

[There are stars drawn on the page, noting what he thinks is more important, but as Gai thinks that all of is is important they mark a whole lot of sections of notes.]

[Unhappy student is unhappy, but he's also a little grateful that Lain isn't here today]

..Gai-sensei, I don't believe our partnership is unhealthy or 'controlling'. She might be possessive and the type prone to jealousy, but she's not preventing me from doing anything I want to.

[That would have been a lie a few weeks ago, but it's true enough now] As it is, I ask a lot of her as well.

[Gai looks up at Neji, trying to choose his words. He'd seen the look Neji gave him earlier.]

That is not the question that I asked of Stein. I did not say you were being controlled against your will... or that someone was being possessive of my Lee. I asked if jealousy would cause a problem even in a caring relationship. You cannot deny that she is possessive and jealous.

[He shakes his head.]

You heard something I did not say. And what I did ask is out of concern, not because I do not think you are trapped, but because this is a world that has different rules than our own and this information is something I have not heard before.

[Lee.. His defensive stance eases somewhat at the mention of him, and he shakes his head]

I understand, but I have no intention of doing anything that may provoke those negative feelings and potentially damage our partnership. We've managed well so far, and this class can only help us steer clear of potential issues and in the case they do happen, understand the reasoning behind them and have a better idea of how to approach mending any rifts.
