Since we're all here to fight a war in some capacity, how come we aren't launching attacks in covert operations or even with units of fighters at these witches? Shouldn't we at least make an effort to information gather on where their main bases are and destroy them? You can until you run up against a creature called a 'Kishin Egg'. Those require a meister-weapon pair to defeat. They are like corrupted souls bent on consuming people.

I don't actually know why they are called that, but they don't... really look like eggs until you kill them. You do eat them after you kill them... well, your weapon would. Meisters aren't allowed to eat them apparently.
