[hello, network. there's a vaguely dramatic, mostly grumpy voice mutter-yelling into the mic, though if you recognize the voice, you're probably able to tell that it's not really that angry. actually, surprisingly, it might be a bit... happy ( Read more... )

I suppose that it is.

Especially considering that it was all compressed into a week of this world's... Who would have thought of such a thing?

Yes. It does not seem as though you have been gone for long, to be honest. Roughly a week, at the most, correct.

I am surprised there can be such a... difference in time flow, if that is the word to use.

That word seems to work fine-- I am surprised as well. Although if I remember correctly, some people would return home for only a few hours, and yet disappear here for days...?

So... it follows no logical pattern. How strange.

Perhaps it would be too frightening to learn that it does follow a logical pattern.

It cannot be logic if it makes no sense, can it?

The frightening part is be that it could be! Think of what type of person would be able to understand it...

............. Somebody very different to you or I, it seems.

Yes. Exactly! Perhaps the ruler of this city...

[... was there a point to this? ah--]

How long have you been here now, aru?

It will have been a couple of weeks now, I believe. I haven't been keeping a record of my days here though.

As much as is possible-- are you fine with being here?

If I were able to go home, I would. However as there is no guaranteed way to do so, there is no point in sitting around and wishing for the impossible.

I am content, I suppose.

[As much as she worries over her father, and wants to return so she can continue to protect him... there is no point in worrying over it. It seems time will wait for her, as far as she has heard from others.]

You have found some place here?

[his voice is warm, almost, like a proud parent. even though he was far from being one to her, it was-- an old habit.]
