In that case, I will do my best to give you a very thorough understanding of the Chinese language, which will include instruction in the written word in the Traditional writing style.

[Having spoken to China, he's learned that there is a new, modern version that makes it simpler, but having learned the traditional style back home, he will be a stickler for that.]

I hope that you will also do me the favour of teaching me the writing styles of the Japanese language. I would greatly appreciate it.
