Takasugi shut off his communicator as soon as he was done posting to the network and stood up, smoothing out his pants and coat. The days seemed to be getting cooler - a relief, really, given the fact that they were in the middle of a desert.
The boy stretched, then glanced towards his partner.
"Ready to go, Okita-san? We ought to start looking for that mark."
If there was one thing he really appreciated about Okita, it was that the other samurai always seemed up to go out and fight something. Takasugi had every reason to get stronger now, and well. He also needed to do something he was familiar with in order to feel normal. What was more familiar than putting his blade to good use?
