What's a soul?

[ Roxas asking without raising a hand? who hadn't seen that one coming? he DOES NOT LOOK pleased and yes, throwing around a little bit of attitude. but he's heard soul this, soul that... but no one's explained what one even is! B| ]

Lots of people have different definitions of it, but most of them I guess boil down to that which drives your body. It's also called a spirit by some--it contains your 'self' so to speak.

[wow that...isn't a very good explanation but she isn't sure how to describe something which seems a given to her]

That there? Everyone has something like that inside of them. Every sentient creature. Of course they all look different depending on the person but a soul I guess is what makes a person who they are. Their personality. Without a soul we are just walking husks without feeling or thought, surviving purely on instinct.
