[There seemed to be no end to the kishin, Motochika tightened his grip on Shizuo and made a wide swing at another kishin which threatened to get past them, sending it flying back.

He didn't know how many of them were coming, but he intended on fighting until he physically couldn't.]

[ooc: I think the order should be Motochika/Shizuo/Michelle/Kasuga? And I will be occasionally taking over for Becci!]

[ While she had spent countless hours training and getting a feel for her form, Kasuga was far from used to being physically handled as a weapon. It was surreal, letting someone else move her while she could do nothing but trust the other woman to hit the target. It was obvious that Michelle was not used to handling a blade, but Kasuga would do all in her power to support her. ]

[He was surprised to see Kasuga join them, but her presence is very much welcomed. Motochika can see that Michelle isn't used to short ranged weapons, so he's keeping a watch in case they need them to smash down one.]

Use your speed to the advantage! [He yells out advice to her when he can and his Meister ability kicks in for the first time, he doesn't recognise it for what it is and the boost to his physical prowess is taken for granted.

He lifts the stop sign up to block the blade of a particularly large kishin, digging his feet into the ground before pushing back with a yell.]

[ It was out of pure habit that Kasuga found herself trying to watch too many things at once, but having much harder of a time at it than she might have usually. Just barely she was able to watch Motochika and his own partner as Michelle swung her. Noting her hesitation, Kasuga called out to her again. ]

Don't stop now, attack while you have the--

[ She cut herself off, realizing the other woman had her focus on something else entirely. ]

Ah-- Is that your...?

[ Her ability. Of course. It was perfect, but Kasuga feared that while she worked it, they would loose time and gain injury. It left the kunoichi feeling more helpless than ever. She had to do something soon if she was going to be any use. ]

[Motochika isn't exactly sure where that came from either. It was something closer to his natural abilities that he had in Hi-no-moto, but he's not going to question it.]

Don't know what that was, but this is more like it!

[He's noticed Michelle's distraction, but he hasn't noticed what she's doing. He makes his way over to them because if she's going to be like that for too long they're going to need cover.]

[ Kasuga felt both relieved and proud that Michelle had actually been able to properly attack the kishin, but she didn't let herself ease up just yet. She knew where there was one, there was plenty more where that came from. ]

Are you okay? It didn't hurt you, did it? If it-- If it did, do not hesitate to retreat for the time being.

Only eight? Looks like we've got a long way to go.

[He's rather enjoying the fight as well. This was what they were here for and it felt good to finally get some proper action.

Even though he's busy with his own fighting he's still able to see Michelle's Meister ability at work.]

Nice work!

[It costs him though and one of the kishin's swipes manages to scrape an arm.]

Oi, is that the best you got?

[One swing later and he's smirking at his handiwork.]

I think you could be on to something there. [It'd definitely account for this increase in power that's not just from their resonance.

Shizuo's sudden spike of anger catches him off guard, causing the attack to end up with considerably more property damage than what was originally intended. The other seemed to become heavier and less compliant than before. The feeling disappears as quickly as it comes though, leaving Motochika to wonder what just happened.]

You okay? [And at the same time he also answers Michelle's question.] It's just a scratch, nothing to worry about.
