[CLOSED][Shopping District][12:20am] Yuffie & Sasuke, Aerith & Luki totallynottalon May 26 2011, 00:06:44 UTC
All things considered, Sarutobi Sasuke was not exactly where he had wanted to be for this battle. His place was by Sanada Yukimura's side in Outer Residential Quarter I. But the situation had been clear - only partnered Weapons and Meisters were to be of any use against the invaders. Sanada no Danna was relatively safe with Honda-san, and he himself was of no use without a Meister ( ... )

Yuffie wasn't really all that pleased, to be honest. While he could just be content with that perfectly calm look (though whether he was or wasn't she couldn't tell), Yuffie on the other hand was pacing back and forth, around in a circles, sitting and standing, over and over in constant motion. How could Luki not protest when Aerith suggested something so... ridiculous? She had finally found a partner, they'd been practicing; they were absolutely ready for this. And, well, even if they weren't Luki would claim they were. Luckily, it didn't take too much stubbornness to convince her Auntie.

"I never run!" she loudly protested to Aerith's bit of worrisome instruction. It wasn't spoken, but it should have been assumed she also meant to add, "I would never leave you, Auntie."

She perked up a little bit, too, when Aerith did. She recognized that voice as well. That other Ninja. What was her name? Puffie? Whatever. Totally not important at all in the least. She looked up at Aerith when they stopped, and then nodded.

"I know her," she said, rather calmly for Luki, "She's the one who thinks she's a better ninja than me."
