[As soon as the announcement was made to evacuate apartments, Aradia packed up her important documents, wrapped them in some bedsheets, grabbed blankets (and Sollux), and made her way to Shibusen. Since then she has made a cozy blanket pile in a corner of the event hall. She can be seen lounging inside (or on top of) said blanket pile. All of her notebooks are either under the pile or in her lap. Now's a good time to organize, she figures.

....Bother her?]

[equius was a little later in arriving, having intended to stick around and fight, but couldn't find a weapon and so had to retreat into shibusen. he approaches them, slightly sulking, having seen aradia first and brightening up, sollux second and scowling. i.e. he looks exactly the same as usual.]

Aradia. [hesitation. then, forced:] Sollux.

[ what little good mood sollux may have mustered for aradia is neatly and effectively quashed once he hears that voice, floating in on the current. his expression snaps into the customary frown, and it takes more will than he thought he possessed not to flip the fellow off in greeting. ]

[he moves over next to aradia - on the opposite side of her than sollux is at - and sits down stiffly next to her.]

I don't know. I didn't see her during the evacuation. [the tone of his voice is decidedly unhappy with this fact.] I assume she's around here somewhere.

[ It's a start, though Sollux doesn't seem to be doing any more to further the interaction than that. At best, he's not flinging insults yet. ]
