Rinzler studied the odd thing before him. It seemed unlikely that this man was a User, but the gesture made toward the machine half-changed Rinzler's mind. His thumb slid over the front of the communicator he had been given, stroking the thing as though searching for a lifeline. This place was confusing, bright, and dirty. The imperfections that abounded offended him, made his purr deepen to something dark and angry sounding.

He wondered what a "soul" was. It seemed like an odd-concept, one that nobody had yet to define. Perhaps Users all knew automatically what the word meant, but it was something he would have to ask about later. Rinzler watched the others, wanting assurance that the process wouldn't hurt before he tried it.

When it didn't seem to be harmful, the program raised his hand slightly, the purring sound shifting to something more content - more relaxed. It was deceptive, but it would not do to frighten the Users away before he could gain what information he needed.

It was an illogical trade. Rinzler could be far more effective with the abilities and weapons he was already familiar with than when dealing with these unknown factors. Still, he wasn't helpless without weapons. His hands were formidable enough on their own, and weapons could be improvised easily. Despite the setback, he would make do. He nodded again in acknowledgment of the information.

"Well, that's about all I can tell ya," Rikku said. "If you have any other questions, Shibusen--the people in charge and actually from this place--can probably give you more information than me. Or Roy Mustang, he seems to know everything, too. Good luck!"

Acknowledged. Rinzler would find these people and then draw his own answers out of him. One more nod and he turned again to leave.
