[xanxus was tense, sure, but now's not the time for that. he's come from one mission a couple of days before -- and even before that, the recent re-arrival to death city -- so this shouldn't be any different. but he's got that whole caution and instinct wired up in his head that it feels like it's been a while since he was one as big as this. last time was adachi and that door. that went badly, as far as he's concerned.

he should borrow a fag or two from kasai right now, but he's not too tense that he'd stoop to ask the fucking trash. instead, he looks at their team -- the boy he knows from the network, knows that he's been here longer than he is, so he at least knows what he's doing -- and then back to kasai. he's trying to figure out how this'll work. he's not much for pep talks, anyway -- not that this group needed it. finally, he says:]

Two or three to set up the bombs. One to keep an eye out.

[The sound is questioning as he peers over in Yuna's direction. Seeing the child heading their way, he blinks before raising his hand up to grab her attention.]

Oooi~ you shouldn't be wandering around alone, it's dangerous!

[Yuuri's call caught the Witch's attention, but not in the way he had hoped.

She remains happily skipping towards the pair. Stopping just long enough to twirl for the partners, the young Witch glanced up and smiled far too innocently.]

[Her expression darkened as the air around her filled with soft 'pops' as six giant ants filled the corridor. Laughing in the next moment, her arm raced forward to gesture for her familiars to attack.]
