Ram was heading to the Death City's Office for General Security and the Watch, ready to start his first day as a Clerk (and as a Watcher, thought that was not for the public knowledge) in the office. However, he was by no means looking at the street or the pedestrians in fortn of him but focusing his attention on the communicator in his hands, typing something.

When he was close to Sepiroth, for a moment it looked like he was about to bump into him, but the program made a sly movement at the last second and avoided the other man. His eyes never left the communicator while he did so.

His gaze focused on the one walking towards him moments before it appeared as though the fool might actually run into him. The act was avoided when the other skillfully moved to walk around him, a move that left him frowning subtly. It was obvious that whoever it was was a guest, and one who seemed foolishly addicted to the lure of the communicator.

Grunting lightly at the thought, he murmured, "You would do well to observe the world around you, least you come across an unfavourable situation and realise too late."

Ram stopped and turned, not that surprised by the firm voice. He putting down the communicator and smiles sheepishly at the other man.

"Sorry, user. I was studying the city map, then I started to add information and go carried away. I'm used to avoid hitting thing at the last millicycle due to the lightcycle races."

lol if Seph had it in him, he'd totally be giving the '8|' face xD pure_lineage August 25 2011, 02:56:39 UTC
The sheepish smile was returned with nothing but a neutral expression. He didn't care much for the others in this city, be them guests or not, and saw little reason to interfere with their lives so long as they remained out of his.

Yet when the strange reply was given, even Sephiroth couldn't hold back the slight frown of confusion that now marred his features. While he prided himself in understanding most concepts of other words, he had to inwardly admit to feeling somewhat uncertain to most of what had just been said.

"Your knowledge in races will not save you from all situations," Sephiroth murmured in reply. Whatever a lightcycle race was, he didn't know, but he didn't care enough to ask either.

Ahahaha. Yeaaaah Ram does that to people 8D r_a_m_1982 August 25 2011, 03:20:54 UTC
"No, obviously not, I got hit by a light thank in the end, that's why I ended here " A pretty light hearted way to talk about his own death, but Ram was like that. It was also easier to mask his feeling about what happened that way.

"Luckily, those don't exist in the User's world. but you have some really strange vehicles instead."

The terms were unknown to him, but he made no attempt to clarify what had been spoken to him. Whatever it meant seemed important, just as whatever the 'User' term meant. Of course he could make an assumption, but there felt as though there was far more to it than that.

"And just what is the User's world, hmm~?" Sephiroth asked with a subtle smirk curving on his lips.

"All this place." Ram's arms opened, motioning to everything around them. "It's nothing like the sort of world Program like me used to live in. Oh, I'm Ram. Pleasure to meet you."

While Sephiroth didn't show any reaction, he did find himself surprised that BREW could even pull codes from a computer program into a living existence. That was, if he was understanding this fool's words correctly. The device was far more powerful than he could have imagined, and he wasn't quite certain what to make of that thought.

"Then you truly hold no knowledge of what can be found throughout the galaxy," Sephiroth murmured more to himself than to the program. While he took note of the name, he didn't give his in return and instead said, "You would do well to keep your pleasure to yourself."

^^ I apologize in advance for...him, in general. r_a_m_1982 August 26 2011, 03:03:51 UTC
"I do know a few things, I was created by a human after all. But yes there's still a lot of things I have to learn. The good and the bad."

Ram doesn't look bothered by Sephiroth's words or the fact that he didn't share his name. To him, users and programs were in different levels, and he wasn't expecting to understand them all. "What is a galaxy?"

His brows furrowed subtly at that. While he had already gathered the origins of this one, the thought of bring 'created' by a human always soured his mood.

"Hn," he gruffed at the question. Glancing away dismissively, the ex-General muttered, "Nothing of importance to you."

"Oh, au contraire. Everything is important to me, this world is...a bit too much, but I'm curious about it all." Ram isn't actually as clueless as he might look, specially when it comes to read other people's emotions.

"But if you don't want to share, I won't pry. I will stop bothering you."

He grunted lightly when the other attempted to claim that everything was important to them. Whether they truly believed that or not was of no interest to him, since it was far from his duty to enlighten others, and he wasn't about to take that mantle now.

"If you wish to find then answer, then discover it on your own," Sephiroth said while glancing back at the program.

"Planning, planning. Sadly I can't spend the whole day in the library, I need to go to the Office." Ram paused for a moment, thinking. When he spoke again it was more to himself than to Sephiroth.

"Books, what a primitive way to store information. They're useful, but too big. I need to see if I can organize the paperwork of the Watch using binary code...Ah, never mind. It was nice talking to you." He looked at his communicator again, ready to leave before he was too late to his new job.

His eyes narrowed when the fool began muttering to himself. Uncertain what to make of the encounter, the ex-General made no attempt to halt the other when they turned to continue their way. He'd heard the mention of the Watch, but merely grunted and turned away himself. That was of no interest to him, and he was more than content with allowing Cloud to deal with this fool in the future.
