[Yuuri hadn't given Leo much of a choice when it came to coming on this mission or not. The moment that he'd discovered what was happening, the young Maou had found the Meister, taken him by the wrist, and forced him along. They had to go and help!
That was where they were now. Running through the mirror, Yuuri's heart felt as though it was about to jump out of his throat at the sight he saw.]
Leo!
[He tried to keep the fear and panic from his voice, but it didn't work well. Then he was off and dashing towards the front lines. He didn't miss the onslaught of Kishin Eggs leaping over the barricade.]
[Don't be scared! Yuuri will do everything in his power to keep you safe, Leo!]
Z-zombies?! [Yeah, let's hope that nowhere on this world ever has to worry about those!]
[As it was, he sighted quite a few kishin eggs starting to dart in towards their position. There were three lesser kishin eggs out front, most looking not that different from regular humans, as they came in to attack the pair.]
Yeah. [Despite all the commotion he couldn't help but grin at Yuuri and how he had gotten it entirely wrong again. Still, his worry for him was touching in a way and, more importantly, it gave hm something to concentrate on that wasn'T about what he was going to do.]
Just zombies!
[Letting out a resonating yell the Half charged forward with feline agility and engaged the first three kishin eggs, hacking through their arms and legs faster and stronger than any human could have had. It was good as long as he could tell himself that they were just some kind of nameless monsters.]
[Yuuri had no idea what Leo was meaning when it came to Zombies, but he knew that he didn't want to run into any of them! He tried not to let it distract him, even if it remained in the back of his mind while the Meister took on the coming Kishin Eggs.
The first couple fell easily enough, but more were already coming in to take their place.]
[Leo growled and raged amongst them like his namesake would in a pack of little dogs, not letting any of them pass them in a condition where they could have still proven a serious threat to the fleeing citizens behind them. During this time his thoughts remained extremely focused and silent - only the occasional spark of wildness flew through their mental connection whenever he received a hit in return and his meister ability tried to get the best of him.
It was tempting to let go and let the laughing demon in his head take charge during this fight. but then he might have attacked not only the kishin eggs.]
