After their encounter the day before, and a failed attempt to resonate with a Weapon that same day, this was just what Saleh needed. Although his bruises hadn't completely healed yet, he wasn't simply going to waste this chance to torment Ryoki. It had nothing to do with the kid being a Half, Saleh never once cared about races or species.

Ignoring the slight aches in his whole body, he set out to find Ryoki. Although he wasn't completely sure the fire was Ryoki's doing, he followed the smell of smoke and the sound of commotion, and ended up running into the Half.

That face Ryoki knew so damn well. He beat it yesterday, after all. It was a face he didn't get tired of seeing. Though, right now, it was a face he seriously didn't want to see.

Ryoki wasn't smiling. he wasn't laughing. Nor he looked like the jovial sadistic punk/idiot he usually was whenever he and Saleh talked. With a dark expression, his cat-like eyes only turned to Saleh to make sure it was him, and quickly ignored the man after.

He wasn't going to waste his time on him. If he had to, he'd set the asshole on fire.

Bingo. So Ryoki really was the source of all the commotion going on that night. However, there definitely was something odd about the sight that greeted him. He soon noticed the Half seemed to be carrying something on him -- some sort of bag, he realized after a second glance --, though he didn't know the contents of it.

That dark glare didn't intimidate Saleh in the least. In fact, he found it quite nice; he wasn't very fond of the bold grin Ryoki always have in his face whenever they meet, it almost made him look even stupider than he was. The moment the boy tore his glance away from his face and ignored him, his interest was piqued. There was certainly something different about him.

"What's the matter, Ryoki-chan?"

The bull didn't bother to answer Saleh properly. "Go die." that's all he said as he kept walking, his attention directed to the flames and to the destruction around. His hand gripped on the bag, thinking about molotov-ing the hell out of Saleh, but no, not yet. Save your ammo the best you can.

Now that he thought about it, he wasn't really that sure where he should be headed, but he figured that if he just walked front he'd get to the edge of the city sometime.

"I don't think this is the best moment for that." A thin smirk spread across his lips, and with a few slow, cautious steps, he began to close the distance between them, watchful of the Half's every movement.

"After all, you seem to be in a good mood today."

"Fine. Then I'll kill you." Ryoki wasn't in the mood to sweet talk while he threatened the other. His hand grabbed a bottle from the bag, however, he didn't set the rag on fire yet.

No. Actually, he pulled the rag away, and then he threw a bit of the liquid inside the bottle at Saleh.

Gasoline was not something Saleh was familiar with, so even if he could feel its strong smell, he would not know what it was or what it could do. All the more reason for him to dodge what was coming his way. The pain he still felt from the incident of the day before restricted his movements a little, so even though his quick reflexes ordered him to move out of the way, his body did not follow as fast, and he ended up getting some of that peculiar liquid on his left sleeve.

"Kill me? I've heard that line too many times already. Haven't you grown tired of it yet?"

The bull didn't bother to answer., rushing towards Saleh after, bottle in hand. He didn't use the rest yet, no. Only when he was closer to his opponent.

Saleh shifted his stance, ready to dodge in case the Half chose to throw more of that strange liquid at him. He wasn't sure what it was used for, but given that the smell propagated through the streets, plus Ryoki's attempt to drench him in that, it was safe to assume it was harmful in some way.

"Oh well. You want to kill me for being one of the humans you hate so much?"

Ryoki stopped just for a second so he could start using his legs to kick. He didn't answer, and truthfully, he wasn't listening to what Saleh was saying either. He just kept charging and charging, like an enraged bull desperate to hit something.

Saleh knew better than to take a straight blow from those kicks. And this time, Ryoki seemed truly intent on killing him and not wasting any time chatting. Ignoring the slight pain he felt in his legs when he moved abruptly, he urged his legs to take a step back whenever a kick was thrown at him. He wished not to resort to using his arms to block anything; any strong impact against his already injured arms would hurt like hell.

"Why are you being so cold? Didn't you say you love me?"

"Die! Die! Die!!" that's all the bull muttered as he kept kicking the air, hoping to hit Saleh somehow. It was annoying how he just kept moving and avoiding his attacks, specially when Ryoki was in a rush.

Along the way, he moved the bottle again, hoping the gasoline would finally hit the target.

"Die, die, die." Saleh mimicked the other, dodging yet another set of kicks. "You sound like an idiot!"

Had his focus been fully on the Half's movements, instead of wasting it on taunting him, he would have noticed more of that substance being tossed at him. Such carelessness earned him several drops of gasoline on his right sleeve and chest area.
