Steve had been passing by, out of uniform, when he heard the sound of fighting nearby...and fire. Someone had set a fire, and in a city like this that usually only meant one thing.

He doubled his pace, trained ears tracking the sounds of fighting as best he could.

When CAPTAIN AMERICA i mean Steve reaches the scene of the crime, Ryoki had already stolen from Tenten her backpack - with explosives - and one of her crutches, which he'd use as a weapon from that point on.

He was trying out one of those explosives on a closed store - by breaking the window glass and throwing it inside -, when he heard someone else approaching.

Just how many of them were there?

It didn't take a genius to guess that this young man was involved in whatever was going on when you came across him breaking glass and carrying around what looked suspiciously like a bomb. He broke into a run - which for him meant he was going damn fast - and beelined straight for Ryoki.

"Put that down, son, before you hurt yourself!" he shouted as he closed the distance between them. Hardly a second later, he reached Ryoki with a nasty tackle.

The half bull turned to see who the heck was rushing towards him, though when he noticed the size of his opponent, he flung himself and got out of the way before the impact.

Holy shit just who the hell?!

if he's led to a fight and a duel is due, then the red and the white and the blue will come through

Cap skidded to a halt where Ryoki had stood a moment ago. He turned quickly to face him, and extended one hand, pointing right between his eyes. Now that he had a second, he realized that whoever this kid was...was just that. A kid.

Not that that would stop him from taking him down. But it did earn him some of Cap's sympathies, and so a warning or two:

"You get one chance," he said sternly, "so choose wisely. Stand down immediately, or I'll do it for you."

The half-bull didn't care much for the warning. "You guys... really are so fucking meddlesome."

And he quickly rises the crutch - using it as a bat, nonetheless - and aims it at Steve's head.

"Fine," he said as Ryoki attacked. "We'll do this the hard way."

That crutch could be a pretty nasty weapon, but to Captain America Ryoki might as well have been moving in slow motion. His movements were decent, but he telegraphed them too much.

The first step is to disarm him.

He ducked under the makeshift club's swing. When it had passed him by, he reached up and took hold of it with his left hand.

Ryo's eyes widen when all of sudden he had someone gripping at his hand. But, actually, that was sort of perfect.

Using that, Ryoki quickly raised his leg and aimed for a kick, also at his face, nearly growling as he did the movement.

He saw the kick coming a mile away. He didn't bother blocking it, but instead pulled on the crutch. Would he let it go? Or would it pull him off balance? The ball was in Ryoki's court.
