Omigosh I loved that book. I haven't read the new one yet; you'll have to tell me what you think. Right now I'm reading a book about India I wonder if you would like. It's called A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. It's really incredible the way he parallels and intertwines three separate stories -- not confusing at all, but sometimes you wonder whether to love or hate the characters. I think the lesson is to empathize with everyone, but I'm only halfway through ...
