Something tells me we're going to regret this...

Ok, I was going to write out in prose all that happened when Amber, Keighty, Lea and Janet came over before heading over to Convention Alley, but along the way I got super busy and found myself in Mexico before I had a chance to translate the jot notes, and then when I returned I found myself in the middle of some heavy training for my new ( Read more... )

Heehee, yes, we did have a great time! I'm very a-moosed that you guys obsessed over underwear throughout the whole trip. It was like... Underwear Fest 2004 or something, rather than Convention Alley. LOL! That's fantastic that Steve took it seriously!!!!!!!!!!! *dies ( ... )

Oh my, as Keighty said - that brought back a lot of memories of that wonderful evening Ana - that was amazing! Thanks for the 2nd dose of laughter, just remembering! *lol*

I hope I can do half as well when I try to put my thoughts down for the rest of the weekend at Convention Alley - but I will probably fall quite shy of your mark!

I'm so glad that you finally got the chance to meet some of our fellow ISPOL'ers. Things have certainly changed in the past year, and you know exactly what I mean by that!

**hugs**

Lea :D

PS...The FedEx-ians love my "I speak fluent Canadian" shirt...Tash is always saying "Eh" now! It makes me happy, eh!

It's okay Keighty - things have changed for the better, believe me!! The first time I met Ana was when I stopped in London and had dinner with her on the way down to your place last October. At that time Ana's parents were quite nervous about her meeting someone "from the internet". As well they should be, since they didn't know me.

Since that time I've been to London several times, including going to Ana's home and when I went for the opening of PoA, not only did Carmen accompany us (she'd been with out with us before too) but her Mom came along as well.

And the fact that Ana's Mom wanted to cook for us all last month is really indicative of how they feel about Ana's "on-line friends" now - they have accepted that we are a real bunch of people and that it's okay to accept us into their lives.

That's the way I see it anyways!!

**hugs** to your Mom, Ana - she's the best!!

And I'm so glad you got that t-shirt then Keighty - Janet will be very happy about that too, eh? *lol*

Haha! You guys are hilarious. (Eh!)

Yup, my parents have DEFINITELY gotten more relaxed with you guys and ISPOL and all. I still can't really stop my dad from rolling his eyes at it once in a while, haha, but both parents are ok with it. They're not yet comfy with ME going away to see others, but they don't mind people coming to see me. Which is quite unfair to you guys in a way, but as I'm not a goldmine and still live at home - their house, their rules! Lol. I'm just waiting for the day that I can go visit though... :D

I'll pass along the hug! Thanks!! :D

Sounds like so much fun! I wish I could go to all these gatherings. But I am going to Erin's, so I'll have a full report after Labor Day weekend, UAU!

Yeah, it would have been great if you and Erin had been able to come after all, but things happen, unfortunately. I look forward to the report... and I fully intend on meeting you guys one day! :D
