I'm going to ask Jude Law to marry me. K?

You guys are all invited to my wedding.

How many of you have seen Alfie? Cold Mountain? Enemy at the Gates? The Talented Mr.Ripley? ExistenZ? Any of his other movies?

ACK! Have yet to see that! I think I need to go rent a few films and have a Jude-a-thon. It's been a whole yr and a half since I had a Ewan-a-thon. And dammit, I need a cute-boy-a-thon soon or I'll go nuts!

Doesn't he have the sexiest voice, too? XD SO have to watch Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events, even though I've never read the books :D

Ooh - I've seen him in ExistenZ (not impressed with that film though), AI (again - didn't like the film), Gattaca, Love Honour and Obey, Final Cut, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Wilde, and Shopping. Phew! :O)

Ooh - and need to see Closer when it comes out over here as it's got Clive Owen in as well! I've loved him since Croupier and the Privateer 2 game! :O) But pshhh - not coming out here till middle of January!

Wow, you've seen basically the opposite ones I have. Although I *have* seen him in Midnight Garden of Good and Evil - we own that, actually. My brother and sister saw ExistenZ but didn't feel like watching it all so they didn't tell me it was on TV! I got so pissed off at them for it. Have yet to see the others. I know I've seen Jude in other things too... but my memory's failing me right now. Do audiences in England like him? I was horrified to learn that lots of people here in Canada don't really know who he is. How can they not know?! *pulls hair out*

And yes, Closer is a must for me too! But for Jude specifically :D I can't remember when it comes out here. Don't you wish they had international release dates for all movies?

You NEED to see Gattaca - it's a reeeeeeally good film! :O)

He's reasonably popular over here - but I think he lost a bit of the 'indie film' fans by doing Alfie. We're Michael Caine puritans over here! Lol!

IMDB are usually good at giving the release dates (that's where I got my info), but in the digital day and age it seems pointless having different dates all over the place - it's just encouraging more and more piracy! :O/ So yes - I agree with you!

I might just rent it sometime soon! The Christmas holidays are coming up, and I know I'll feel like vegging for a few days after all the school stress is over! :D

That's too bad he lost those fans, but I suppose it doesn't really surprise me. There's been a billion remakes lately and people aren't taking well to them.

I've seen Alfie - definitely the best film I've seen him in. Seen Talented Mr Ripley but didn't like it. I have Cold Mountain waiting for me to watch it ... will have to get around to that soon. Um, he was good in AI. Can't think of any others.

You didn't like Talented Mr.Ripley? Well... I liked it, but I must agree that Alfie was better. I liked the storyline in it more anyway. But I looooooooooved Cold Mountain. You should definitely re-borrow it from your friend and watch it! :D

Are you still madly in love with him now? :D

It was OK but made me feel screwed up! I loved Alfie - I read a lot of bad reviews about it so I was pleasantly surprised. I'll definitely re-borrow Cold Mountain. I still have a crush on him but it's dwindling ... will have to watch Cold Mountain and see if that helps!
