A thousand and one times thanks once more to my fabulous beta Cicero, who despite a crammed schedule managed to read the story, make suggestions for improvement

Oh God. *hands e-tissue* I didn't want to stress the sadness in the warnings because I thought it wouldn't be that bad... lesson learned!
But thank you for calling it sweet! ^^

Still, a lovely read.

Thank you! I'm sorry to inflict sadness on everyone in the first days of spring... ^^

Yeah... I love long stories, I just can't write them myself. I'm more of a short-and-intense type... :)
Thank you for your lovely comment!

I second what the person above me said... this story says so much in so little words! Wow.
My only comfort is that I can so imagine Bertie asking to be buried in psychedelic bell-bottom trousers, flowery shirt and leather boots.

Thank you, that's very kind! ^-^
One of my favourite writers once wrote: "Only those write long stories who didn't have time to keep it short!" XD
No, I just don't have the stamina for long stories, so I learned to say much with little.
XD So Jeeves has got something to moan about even in the afterlife! XD
"Do you really think, old thing? I find those trousers to be rather spiffy!"
"I think they were part of Lucifer's spring collection, sir."
"By Jove! Who'd have thought the old horsefoot had that good taste, eh?"
"... I think not, sir. Maybe a white gown and antique-white wings?"
"Good lord, Jeeves. And you approve of that, do you?"
"It seems to be the usual in these parts, sir."
"When in Rome, eh, Jeeves?"
"My thoughts precisely, sir."
"Right-o. And... there seems to be a pair of sandals going with the ensemble, Jeeves?"
"I would prefer if you didn't put a finger in that wound just yet, sir."

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
Yes, my beta had this amazing idea that Bertie couldn't tell thre present from the past anymore and just called his valet Jeeves. But in the end, it was sadder than I could bear. :D So yeah, it's no all sad.
